This is what Israel hides behind allowing aid to enter policy

The Israeli authorities announced – at the morning of Sunday – to allow humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip through air projection processes and temporary human paths, after a famous military blockade and almost complete stopping to enter food, medicine and fuel to the stricken Palestinian sector.

This development comes in light of an unprecedented negligence of the living conditions in the sector, an unprecedented escalation of international pressure, and the warnings of relief organizations of the risk of collective famine and a fork.

And if this decision appears human in terms of form, but it carries in its folds political and strategic dimensions related to the minor and international Israeli position, and the balance of war that the Benjamin Netanyahu government is fighting on multiple foreheads.

International pressure

Repeated international warnings, for the spread of famine in the Gaza Strip, formed the most prominent factor in pressure on the Israeli government to take a formal step that provides a partial and temporary flow of aid.

The United Nations, the International Red Speaking Committee and the World Health Organization, in addition to more than 200 international and local organizations, have launched a series of reports and warnings during the past two weeks, indicating that a complete appeal in the ability to provide food and water in large areas of the sector, especially in the Mir al -Balah, Khan Yons and South City of Gaza.

In a report published by the German “Duchsha Valla” network, it was quoted by an official in the World Food Program as saying that Gaza is facing a vehicle humanitarian catastrophe, and the rates of malnourity among children increased by 300% since June, and there are areas that have not reached any supplies for weeks.

The 25 states of Israel have called for the immediate lifting of the restrictions imposed on the flow of aid to the Gaza Strip, and at the same time stressed the refusal of any measure to bring about a demographic change in the occupied Palestinian territories.

These countries denounced the slow distribution of aid and the killing of civilians, including children, and demanded Israel to lift the restrictions on the flow of aid immediately.

In the same leg, Oxfam called on the Israeli government to “immediately end the use of food as a weapon in war”, considering that the continued comprehensive blockade promotes a “crime against humanity.”

These insights – which have enjoyed a wide coverage – have prompted several European parties, highlighted by France and Alamaya, to exercise direct diplomatic pressures on Israel, salinizing with a review of the joint commercial and military agreements unless urgent measures are taken to prevent the sector’s hypocrisy healthy and food.

According to the Pynninch of the Burnaz, European officials warned Israel that “a humanitarian crisis of this size will legitimize any western military or political support.”

Ethical exposure and whitening the image of Israel

The accelerated humanitarian revision in the Gaza Strip sparked angry reactions at the international level, and reopened the file of “legal responsibility” to Israel as an occupied power in accordance with international law.

With the escalation of international media coverage, which showed the scene of hunger and destruction, the fears of the Israeli people emerged from their political isolation in international forums, especially as the special session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva is approaching, which will discuss the siege of Gaza as a possible criminal against civilians.

In this leg, the American website Axius stated that the National Security Council officials advised Israel to “immediate steps to show the humanitarian response”, stressing that the continuation of the full siege “holds Western support and strengthens the camp’s discourse of Israeli people within the United States and the European Union.”

The decision to open the passes today is read as an attempt to reduce this moral exposure, by showing that Israel allows the entry of aid “when there is an urgent need” at a time when the leaders of the armies confirm that they do not give up their military priority.

Hamas: The introduction of food and medicine to Gaza is a natural right to stop the catastrophe imposed by the Nazi occupation (French)

In a statement today, Sunday, Hamas accused Israel of trying to whiten its image and evading the stopping of starvation policy, stressing that the recent measures of the occupation army are only a continuation of a “starvation management” and will not end the crisis of starvation that claimed hundreds in Gaza.

Hamas explained that the introduction of food and medicine to Gaza “a natural right and a human necessity to stop the catastrophe imposed by the Nazi occupation” and described the dropping of aid as an air as a “deceptive” procedure aimed at overcoming the demand to end the siege and stop starvation that led to the martyrdom of the killing of more than 1,000 Palestinians.

She added that the Israeli control of aid and restricting it through the corridors or air landing endangers the lives of civilians, and renewed the confirmation that ending the famine requires stopping the aggression and opening the land crossings under the supervision of the UN, while continuing international pressure to break the siege and stop the genocide, warning against being drawn behind the propaganda of the occupation.

For his part, the Government Information Office in Gaza stressed that the sector needs 600 relief trucks per day, and that the root solution lies in opening the crossings immediately and breaking the siege.

Image of the Israeli army

Inside the Israeli, the last weeks witnessed sharp criticism of the army and the government for the background of the delay in the military resolution in Gaza, and the failure of the efforts to return the prisoners held in Hamas.

In an attempt to re -draw a “moral armies” in international awareness, the decision to release aid convoys, facilitate air projection operations, and the opening of the structural corridors coordinated with international organizations, such as UNRWA and the World Food Program.

According to a report published by a health “Yadu’u Aharonot”, the decision was taken in a mini security meeting headed by Natinaho, and the minister of security, Yusrayal Katz and the head of the corners, joined the Ayal Zameer, where he agreed that “the limited aid will not harm the military units, but may improve the image of Israel Universally.

A military source said to the Israeli newspapers of Yadu’u Ahronoth that “the drop -off areas were chosen with a coffin, far from the engagement sites, and will not be a cover for any political understanding with Hamas.”

A maneuver to undermine the role of brokers

Among the goals, it is not announced for this decision as well, the congregation of the uniqueness of Egypt and Qatar in the human negotiating role with Gaza, as prisoners allowed aid this time outside the traditional triple understandings, and with conditions that they specify without referring to the mediators.

This represents a dual message: On the one hand, Israel seeks to show the independence of its decision, and on the other hand, aimed at redefining the role of international agencies as neutral parties in relief operations, instead of exclusive dependence on the pressures of Arab mediators.

In a statement carried by the “Times of Israel” health, an official in the Israeli “Kogat” military authority said that the Israeli has not prevented any aid truck from entering, but the United Nations failed to distribute within the sector “and we are now returning to know the partner in charge of relief operations.”

Starvation

Despite the opening of humanitarian corridors, Israel has not announced a permanent ceasefire or suspension of military operations. On the contrary, the military leadership confirmed in an official statement that “the army will continue its operations against the infrastructure of the terror” and that “the humanitarian response does not mean a change in the rules of engagement.”

This indicates that the decision today does not understand as a strategic shift in the management of the war, but rather as a lake maneuver that aims to manage pressure at the lowest political cost, while maintaining full -time and political control.

In this sense, Israel is trying to combine between constant military pressure and limited humanitarian hidden, in an attempt to postpone the international explosion, without making real concessions at the level of political solutions or indirect negotiations.

It is possible to explain Israel to introduce humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip as an emergency step imposed by a set of strategic pressures and considerations, and not a fundamental shift in its existing policies, as starvation remains a strategic weapon that the occupation army cannot waive.

Therefore, this aid is not expected to be organized, and it is likely that the occupation army will turn it into a way to create more chaos, which will prevent it from reaching its actual beneficiaries.

The UN Commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) Felipe Lazarini confirmed that dropping aid to Gaza by air is merely dispersing attention and smoke to cover up the reality of the humanitarian catastrophe, and will not stop starvation, warning that it may lead to the lives of hungry civilians.

Therefore, despite the importance of this step in preventing the complete humanitarianism in the sector, it remains limited and fragile, and it can be retracted at any moment, unless there is a true political will to change the rules of the game.
