The activists of the networking sites continued to talk about the malnutrition crisis in the Gaza Strip, and expressed their sympathy for parents who are no longer able to feed their children or save them from death.
Children in Gaza are deprived of food and hunger, and parents do not have anything to provide them because of the full blockade that Israel imposes on the Strip.
Episode 20/8/7 of the “Networks” program dealt with the case of Ibrahim Al -Najjar, a resident of Jabalia camp, who is doing what he can to provide what keeps his children alive.
Last March, Ibrahim, his 5 -year -old son, was lost due to hunger and malnutrition, and he lived today the same fear with his son Ammar, whose bones emerged and his body diminished until he became half of its normal size.
Ammar’s mother spoke of pain about the deterioration of her son’s health, saying that she is doing what she can to secure what fills his breath, but hunger is stronger than her ability.
According to the lady, Ammar was spending between 15 to 20 days a month without milk, and they went to obtain a fortified solution from any hospital, so they were waiting for hours while their son is hungry.
The bones of the chest of the child emerged due to hunger and he did not get drinking water for days, and sometimes he drank contaminated water so that thirst did not die.
The integrated classification data for the stages of food security indicates that all the residents of the Gaza Strip – that is, about two million people – suffer from a 100%severe food security.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) also reported that food consumption in the Gaza Strip decreased by 81% compared to last April, which reflects the sharp deterioration in the humanitarian situation.
The world must interfere
On the communication sites, activists continued to criticize the situation in this degree of starvation of children and the inability of parents to save their children, as well as the inability of hospitals to provide any assistance due to the siege.
Firas wrote: “The malnutrition that the children of Gaza suffers from due to the war in it led to the creation of a wild healthy situation,” calling on the whole world “to help the children of Gaza who have no power.”
As Umm Mahmoud wrote: “Until the child took Ammar to the hospital, he may have no use, as the hospital also suffers from a disability in the medicine and treatment,” adding, “He must be taken out outside the sector.”
As for Khaled Safi, he wrote, “And you go out in the morning to your work.
Finally, an account book called “Mood”: “A cry of pain shaking the conscience! While we breathed behind our livelihood, the fathers of Gaza are searching between the rubble for a glimmer of hope, struggling with death for the sake of bread,” adding “Israel, with its deliberate destruction, turned their lives into unbearable hell!”
“OCHA” said in a statement that about 9 out of every 10 families had to resort to extremely cruel means to secure their food, including endangering their members while searching for food or resorting to drainage in garbage.
In a scene that summarizes the depth of the tragedy in Gaza, a video clip documented a painful dialogue between the child “Rima” and her father, in which she asked him to go to bring in aid despite her awareness that whoever goes may not return alive.
