White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby expressed on Tuesday evening the US administration’s real fear that Israel would become more isolated because of the way it manages its military operations in the Gaza Strip.

Kirby said in a press conference in Washington that the Israeli raid in the city of Rafah, south of Gaza, led to the killing of dozens of innocent people, including children, and the pictures coming from there are heartbreaking and heartbreaking. He welcomed the Israeli army’s announcement to open a full investigation into the attack.

He pointed out that Washington contacted the Israeli army to obtain more information about the Rafah attack, stressing the need for Israel to take all measures to protect innocent people.

Kirby considered that the Israeli attack is not considered a crossing of the red line, and pointed out that Washington has not yet seen a plan to protect civilians in Rafah and does not believe that there is justification for launching a major ground attack in Rafah, noting in this regard that the Israelis have confirmed that their operation is limited.

The White House spokesman said that the United States does not support imposing sanctions on the International Criminal Court if arrest warrants are issued against officials in Israel, nor does it believe that the court has jurisdiction to do so.

Kirby’s statements come in light of the occupation forces continuing to bomb several areas in Gaza, and confirmations from the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip and the Emergency Committee in Rafah that the occupation committed a new massacre today against displaced people in Rafah’s Mawasi, which claimed the lives of more than 20 martyrs and dozens of wounded, a day after the “Khiam Massacre.” In the city that claimed 45 martyrs.
