In the original recordings taken from the attack on January 29, 2024, Rajab is understood to be sobbing and saying to the Red Crescent Society: “Please come to me, please come.” I’m afraid ”, while balls were dismissed in the background.
After a three -hour wait, the rescuers were authorized, by the Israeli army, to send an ambulance to the car from which Rajab spoke. However, contact with the girl was cut just after the ambulance arrived.

“And I think it’s so dehumanizing, and that is why cinema, art and any type of expression is very important to give these people a voice and a face,” said Ben Hania.
Rajab’s mother Wissam Hamada told the AFP news agency that she hoped that the film would help end the war.
“The whole world has let us die, be hungry, live in fear and be moved by force without doing anything,” Hamada told AFP by phone from Gaza City, where she lives with her five -year -old son.
