The United States strikes dozens like the migrant detention center on Yemen Kill | Houthis News

The United States military strikes in a migrant detention center in Saada and the capital of Yemen, Sanaa, have killed dozens of people and injured much more, according to media reports in Houth.

At least 68 people were killed during the night strike against African migrants detained and eight people were killed in the capital, Houthi media reported on Monday.

Later in the day, the Houthis promised to maintain their own attacks because they said they had targeted an American aircraft carrier, USS Harry S Truman, “and its associated warships” in response to American attacks in Sanaa and the Governor of Saada.

“The Force missile has launched a number of missiles and cruise and ballistic drones in the last hours. The commitment and the confrontation that have resulted in the carrier to withdraw from its previous position and to go north of the North of the Red Sea,” said the Houthis.

They added that they would continue to target American ships “in red and Arab seas until the assault against Yemen is interrupted”.

The central command of the American army (Centcom), responsible for military operations in the Middle East, refused to offer details on its latest strikes, but admitted to having made more than 800 attacks against targets in Yemen since mid-March when it has relaunched its air strikes on the country. More than 250 people were reportedly killed in the countryside.

The TV news channel Al Masirah reported early on Monday that eight people had been killed in an American strike on the Bani al-Harith district north of Sanaa.

Defenders of rights were alarmed by civilian murders. Thursday, three American Democratic senators wrote to the Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth, demanding accounting of lost civil life.

“Strikes present an increasing risk for the civilian population in Yemen,” the United Nations spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Monday. “We continue to call on all parties to maintain their obligations under international humanitarian law, including the protection of civilians.”

Migrants detained taken in cross -fires

A later report by Al Masirah showed graphic images and said that 68 people were killed when a migrant detention center was affected in Saada strikes.

The establishment held around 100 people of Ethiopia and other African countries held during the crossing of Yemen in order to obtain work in Saudi Arabia.

The Houthi rebels would gain significant sums in smuggling of migrants on the border, but those who seek to cross take a significant risk, given the threat of detention and abuse as well as the risks of long -standing conflict.

A strike from the coalition led by Saudi Arabia fighting against the Houthis struck a detention center in 2022, killing 66 prisoners, according to a UN report.

The Houthis fired out of 16 detainees who fled after the strike and injured 50 others, said the UN.

The latest American bombing raids increase the number of deaths of American strikes on Yemen since March 15 to more than 250 people, according to a count of Houthi announcements on the victims.

The US military said on Sunday that since March 15, it had reached more than 800 targets in Yemen and killed hundreds of Houthis.

“These strikes killed hundreds of Houthi fighters and many Houthi leaders,” said Centcom. He added that attacks on Yemen would continue and that the details would continue to be restricted.

“To preserve operational security, we have intentionally limited the details of our details of our current or future operations,” said Centcom.

“We are very deliberate in our operational approach, but we will not reveal details on what we have done or what we will do,” he added.

The United States has not commented on civilian victims of its intense Bombing of Yemen, which involved almost daily attacks.

American forces say they are targeting the Houthis because of the group’s attacks against the expedition to the Red Sea and on Israel. The Houthis say they have launched their attacks on red sea navigation linked to Israel in retaliation against the War of Israel against Gaza.

On April 18, an American strike on the port of Fuel Ras Isa in Yemen killed at least 74 people and injured 171 in the deadliest attack known to date by the United States on Yemen.

The increase in American attacks also occurs while US President Donald Trump is intensifying efforts to put pressure on Iran – the main supporter of the Houthis – to accept a new agreement on his nuclear capacities.

The United States is leading strikes from its two aircraft carriers in the region-USS Truman in the Red Sea and USS Carl Vinson in the Arabian Sea.

The Houthi forces continue to launch missiles in Israel and American ships in the Red Sea as well as to American military drones.
