The United Nations slam the Gaza aid group supported by the United States and Israel as “failure” | News Israel-Palestine Conflict

The UN spokesman says that Gaza Humanitarian Foundation does not provide secure supplies to those who need it.

The United Nations claim that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), supported by the United States and the United States, is a “failure” from a humanitarian perspective.

Jens Laerke, spokesperson for the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs Coordination (OCHA), said that assistance operations have stalled because GHF does not provide secure supplies to people in need.

“GHF, I think it is right to say, was, from a humanitarian point of view in principle, a failure,” Laerke told journalists in Geneva on Friday. “They do not do what a humanitarian operation should do, which provides help to people where they are, in a safe and secure manner.”

The UN and the main aid groups refused to cooperate with the GHF, citing concerns that it favors Israeli military objectives on humanitarian needs.

The newly formed private organization began its operations on May 26 after Israel has completely cut supplies in Gaza for more than two months, arousing mass famine warnings.

He indicates that he has distributed more than 18 million meals since then.

On Friday, at least 44 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks, medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune.

Tariq Abu Azzoum of Tel Aviv Tribune, reporting from Deir El-Balah, in the center of Gaza, said that Israeli forces were targeting parts of Khan Younis in the south of Gaza with artillery fire and ground attacks.

“The Israeli army deepens its ground operations,” said Azzoum, saying that there were clashes in the eastern part of the city.

Friday, the besieged territory remained under the communication failure for a second day. Hamas has denounced what it described as an Israeli decision to reduce the communication lines in Gaza, the appellant “a new aggressive stage” in the country’s “extermination war”.

Israel continues to force civilians to what he calls the “safe zone” of Al-Mawasi, a sterile coastal strip without infrastructure, which she has bombed on several occasions. A drone strike on a tent killed at least two people there on Friday.

The attack left “everyone on the field completely confused as for the place where he can go to find security,” said Azzoum.

Israel locks occupied West Bank

In occupied West Bank, Israel sealed all level crossings and control points between cities and Palestinian cities on Friday, shortly after launching a wave of air strikes on targets in Iran.

Sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that the closures had been imposed without any indication of their lifting.

Palestine Red Crescent Society said that its ambulances have been denied access to patients, including those who have an urgent need for medical care.

In the occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli forces closed the Al-Aqsa mosque, preventing the Palestinians from attending Friday prayers.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa held a meeting of the emergency firm in response and activated crisis committees through the West Bank.
