The smell of death wafts…demands to save Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza news

The Palestinian Ministry of Health considered the Israeli army’s targeting of Kamal Adwan Hospital (northern Gaza Strip) and the arrest of health personnel there a “war crime and a violation of the right to humanity” at a time when the occupation continues to target civilians in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Health Minister Majed Abu Ramadan said that the occupation’s targeting of Kamal Adwan Hospital, besieging it, shooting at it, arresting health personnel working there and a number of wounded and sick people, and preventing health support from reaching it is a “war crime and a major violation against humanity.”

In turn, the director of the ministry’s field hospitals, Marwan Al-Hams, told Tel Aviv Tribune, “The occupation destroyed medicines in Kamal Adwan Hospital to prevent us from saving the wounded,” noting that the smell of death wafts around the besieged hospital.

Al-Hams called for the World Health Organization to intervene to remove the wounded from Kamal Adwan Hospital, and said that he did not know the fate of the detained medical personnel.

On the other hand, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported the martyrdom of the son of Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital.

The occupation forces withdrew from this hospital after besieging it for two days and storming it. The pictures and video clips circulating showed massive destruction in the hospital and its surroundings as a result of the occupation’s aggression.

Arrest of health personnel

For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the occupation army arrested all the men from the medical staff at Kamal Adwan Hospital, in addition to a number of wounded and sick people present. It also detained women in one of the rooms inside the hospital without water or food.

The Palestinian Ministry has appealed to international and international institutions and concerned parties to intervene urgently to protect patients and medical personnel working at Kamal Adwan Hospital.

The number of Palestinian martyrs has risen since October 7, 2023, to 42,924 martyrs, and the number of injured has reached 100,833, according to what the Ministry of Health in the Palestinian Strip reported on Saturday.

In the same context, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent confirmed the death of 4 Palestinians and the injury of others in an Israeli bombing of homes in Jabalia al-Nazla, north of the besieged Gaza Strip, and the gathering of Palestinians in the area.

The reporter reported that a number of Palestinian citizens were injured as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a house in the Al-Salam neighborhood in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

A citizen was martyred and others were injured as a result of an Israeli air strike that targeted a house in the vicinity of Sheikh Radwan Pool, west of Gaza City. The reporter, quoting doctors at Baptist Hospital, indicated that most of the wounded were children and women, some of whom were in critical condition.

A Palestinian was also martyred, and a number of others were injured, in an Israeli raid on the town of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip.

Doctors at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah confirmed that a child died from wounds he sustained during a previous Israeli bombing on the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The occupation forces also bombed with artillery houses and agricultural lands north and west of the Nuseirat camp, and the eastern areas of the Maghazi camp.
