The Palestinian resistance launched missiles from the northern Gaza Strip towards Ashkelon and the Kissufim military site, targeting 7 military vehicles and blowing up 15 Israeli soldiers, while the occupation continued to commit massacres against the Palestinians, especially in Jabalia, in the north and center of the Strip.
An Israeli army statement said, “Following the warnings that were issued a short while ago in the Ashkelon (Ashkelon) area, two shells were detected. They crossed from the northern Gaza Strip, where they fell in an open area, without causing any casualties.”
Before that, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that sirens sounded in the city of Ashkelon, and several surrounding areas, due to fears of missiles being launched towards it.
The Israeli army did not specify exactly where the missile was launched from in the northern Gaza Strip.
For its part, the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades announced that it targeted the Kissufim military site in the southeast of the Central Governorate in Gaza with a missile strike.
Israeli Channel 13 reported that two rockets were fired from Gaza towards Kissufim in the cover and fell before crossing the Israeli border.
A short while ago, the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – announced that it had targeted an Israeli “Merkava” tank with a “Shawaz” device near the “Saftawi” junction, west of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
Al-Qassam said that its fighters detonated a high-explosive device against “a Zionist foot force of 15 soldiers while it was trying to storm a house, killing and wounding its members” near the communications junction west of the Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip.
Al-Qassam announced that its fighters targeted a Merkava tank with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell in the “Al-Tawam” area, north of Gaza City, in addition to targeting a troop carrier near Al-Khazandar station, northwest of Gaza City.
The Military Information Office of the Al-Qassam Brigades also published video scenes showing the detonation of a booby-trapped tunnel in an Israeli engineering force in the Al-Rayyan area, east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
Al-Qassam confirmed that it targeted two Merkava tanks and a D-9 military bulldozer with Al-Yassin 105 shells in the Al-Jeneina neighborhood, east of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and that it observed the occupation helicopters evacuating the soldiers after they were targeted there.
For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – announced the bombing of an Israeli military vehicle that had penetrated into the Al-Saftawi area in the northern Gaza Strip, targeting it with a high-explosive “Thaqib” barrel bomb.
The Al-Quds Brigades said that it “destroyed an Israeli troop carrier penetrating the Al-Tawam Junction, north of Gaza, by detonating a piercing-type explosive device that it had planted in advance,” in addition to shelling with mortar a gathering of Israeli vehicles and forces east of Jabalia.
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades also broadcast scenes of its fighters bombing, in conjunction with the Martyr Abdul Qader Al-Husseini Brigades, the command and control site in the Civil Administration east of Jabalia Camp with a Type 107 guided missile.
A short while ago, the Israeli army announced that an officer from the College of Military Engineering was seriously injured during a battle in the southern Gaza Strip today.
Israeli massacres
On the other hand, in details of the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip, medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 27 people were martyred in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn today.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 8 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the middle of the Jabalia refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that a number of martyrs and wounded fell as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a house in the vicinity of Al-Omari Mosque in Jabalia Al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.
An Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent had previously said that two people were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Also, 5 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in two Israeli raids that targeted two gatherings in Gaza City and the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported – on Saturday – that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression had risen to 42,175 martyrs and 98,336 injured since the outbreak of the war on October 7, 2023.
