The Palestinian resistance continues its operations against the Israeli occupation forces in more than one axis in the Gaza Strip, most notably targeting 4 tanks and two occupation vehicles and finishing off a number of soldiers from zero distance, while the occupation army admitted that 6 soldiers were injured during the past 24 hours.
The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that it targeted two Israeli Merkava tanks with Al-Yassin shells in the Shaboura camp, south of Rafah.
She added that the two tank crews fled into the camp’s alleys after the targeting, and that she pursued them and eliminated a number of them from zero distance.
Al-Qassam continued, “In continuation of the complex ambush in the Shaboura camp, we targeted two Zionist Eitan vehicles with Al-Yassin 105 missiles.”
She added, “We monitored the helicopter landing to evacuate the dead and wounded soldiers in the ambush in which we targeted 4 Zionist vehicles.”
The Al-Qassam Brigades also said that it targeted the Israeli occupation forces and their vehicles in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah with mortar shells. It also broadcast a video clip documenting its members targeting the Israeli forces penetrating into Tal al-Sultan.
For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that it targeted an Israeli Merkava tank and destroyed another tank with a high-explosive device in the Al-Shaboura neighborhood in Rafah.
A short while ago, the brigades confirmed that they were engaged in clashes with the occupation forces in the center of the city of Rafah.
Earlier, the Al-Quds Brigades broadcast scenes that they said were of the bombing of settlements around the Gaza Strip with a missile salvo.
In several statements, it claimed responsibility for bombing a gathering of soldiers in the vicinity of Saad Mosque, east of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, with mortar shells.
It also said that it bombed the command and control rooms on the supply line in the Netzarim axis, south of Gaza City, with a barrage of mortar shells.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that clashes took place between the resistance and the occupation in the city of Rafah.
The correspondent added that the occupation forces renewed their artillery shelling of various areas in the city, and Tel Aviv Tribune’s camera monitored Israeli warplanes flying at a low altitude over the city.
Israeli soldiers were injured
On the other hand, the Israeli army acknowledged that 6 soldiers were injured during the past 24 hours in the Gaza battles.
The Israeli army announced yesterday, Wednesday, that the number of its dead since the beginning of the war reached 662 officers and soldiers, while the number of wounded reached 3,866 soldiers since the beginning of the war, including 582 seriously injured, and 239 soldiers are still undergoing treatment after being injured in the Gaza battles.
Since last October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza with absolute American support, leaving about 123,000 Palestinians martyred and wounded, putting Tel Aviv into international isolation and causing it to be prosecuted before the International Court of Justice.
Israel continues its war despite two UN Security Council resolutions to stop it immediately, and orders from the International Court of Justice to end the invasion of Rafah, take measures to prevent acts of genocide, and improve the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
