As-Suwayda- For the second day in a row, the clashes in the endosperm (southern Syria) did not subside between gunmen from the Druze community and others from the Bedouin tribes, which necessitated the intervention of government forces through the northern axis coming from Damascus, and the Western coming from the neighboring Daraa Governorate.
The clashes increased at dawn today, Monday, to include several axes in the vicinity of the western countryside of As -Suwayda, including the villages of Al -Dur, Al -Awara and Al -Duwairi, the villages of Kanakar and Al -Jaala, and also extended to the neighborhood of Al -Maqous (east of the endosperm), which is inhabited by families of Bedouin tribes.
The spokesman for the Syrian Ministry of Interior, Noureddine Al -Baba, stated that the forces of the defense and interior ministries have entered the endosperm from the early morning hours, noting the need to disarm the “outlaws groups” completely, and affirming the conduct of wide coordination with all the actors in the governorate before the start of the implementation of the security deployment plan.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the events in the province of As -Suwayda have resulted in the death of more than 30 people and about 100 wounded in a preliminary statistic.
The Ministry stated in a statement that “this dangerous escalation comes in the absence of the relevant official institutions, which led to the exacerbation of the chaos and the insecurity of the security situation, and the inability of the local community to contain the crisis despite the repeated calls for calm, and this resulted in the high number of victims and a direct threat to civil peace in the region.”
In parallel, the locals in the endosperm and its villages heard approximately 11:30 this morning a flight of Israeli warplanes at low altitudes, followed by the escalation of smoke columns, sending from the western administrative borders of the endosperm, which separates it from the Daraa Governorate.
Government intervention
For his part, the spiritual president of what they called the Druze Almohads, Sheikh Hikmat Al -Hijri, rejected his refusal to enter the public security forces of the interior to the endosperm and the forces of the Headquarters for the Liberation of Al -Sham, and demanded again international protection for the Druze.

The Men of Dignity – which is the largest military faction and the strongest armed in the endosperm and led by Sheikh Yahya Al -Hajjar – issued a statement yesterday evening in which it made it clear that the language of the mind must be the prevailing, and the need to make efforts to stop the escalation and surround the clash.
In her statement, she emphasized that “the principle of self -defense is neutral, and it is a legitimate right sponsored by all divine and positional laws, so the movement pushed its fighters in the seam sites,” declaring the general alienation “in defense of the land and the offer, and in order to protect civil peace and deter those who praise the security of people.”
In turn, Naguib Abu Fakhr, head of the political bureau of the Military Council in southern Syria, said that “the repercussions of the current events exceed the issue of the detention of a vegetable vehicle driver and robbed of a sum of money,” referring to the spark that broke out, which caused confrontations between the two parties, and he adds, “but rather that it is due to the abuse and the transgression of the governor of As -Suwayda many times, that is, the undermining of the state’s prestige.”
Abu Fakhr asks about the situation towards Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara, saying, “Why do we say that he was facing a test for 8 months, and we do not say that we were in front of a test in autonomy during the same time?” In his opinion, “the result was our failure to automatically and manage our affairs, even if state institutions do not follow us.”
It is noteworthy that the military council includes 650 officers and a non -commissioned officer who were in the National Front for the Liberation of Syria, led by Brigadier Yasser Zureikat from Daraa.
The need to control
