Despite generalized demonstrations in Israel and an international conviction, Israel is preparing to launch a new offensive in Gaza City.
About half of the Enclave’s two million people are currently living in Gaza City, with several thousand to have already moved west, pouring into the heart of the city and along the coast.
Others have ventured further south, to Central Gaza and the Al-Mawasi coastal area near Khan Younis.
Israel has completely destroyed more than 1,000 buildings in the districts of Zeitoun and Sabra de Gaza City since he started his supported assault on the city on August 6, according to estimates of the Palestinian Civil Defense.
