The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced today, Thursday, the suspension of venous chemotherapy and medical follow -up to cancer patients in the Gaza Strip.
“The evacuation of the European Hospital and the Gaza Cancer Center has doubled the disastrous situation of patients.”
It stated that 11,000 cancer patients in Gaza without appropriate treatment and care, noting that 5,000 cancer patients have an urgent retirement for treatment abroad, either for diagnosis or chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
She explained that the lack of early diagnostic and follow -up devices exacerbates patients with patients, pointing out that 64% of cancer drugs are zero.
Gaza’s health confirmed that cancer patients are trapped in disastrous health, social, and economic conditions, appealing to all parties to pressure the occupation to enable patients to travel to treatment abroad and introduce the necessary medicines for them.
