Palestinian resistance operations continued in several areas of the Gaza Strip and wounded Israeli occupation soldiers, who withdrew from a site in the Gaza Strip for fear of resistance infiltration, while it continued its bombing, which led to the martyrdom of two Palestinians.
The Israeli occupation army announced that a soldier was injured as a result of a shell fired by the resistance in the Kerem Shalom area in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli Channel 12 reported that several shells were spotted fired from Rafah and landed inside the Gaza Strip near the Kerem Shalom crossing, while an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that sirens were sounding in Kerem Shalom in the Gaza Strip.
As for the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – it announced that its fighters are engaged in fierce clashes with enemy forces penetrating east of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Al-Qassam also announced the bombing of enemy forces’ concentrations at the Karam Abu Salem military site with a 114-caliber short-range “Rajum” missile system, in addition to destroying enemy forces’ concentrations east of the city of Rafah with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
The Al-Qassam Brigades said that its fighters targeted a gathering of enemy forces and an Israeli infantry force west of the “Netzarim” axis with mortar shells.
In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that its fighters were engaged in fierce clashes with machine guns and assault rifles with enemy soldiers and vehicles penetrating east of the city of Rafah.
It also announced the bombardment of enemy soldiers and vehicles penetrating the vicinity of the airport, east of the city of Rafah, with heavy-caliber mortar shells and regular 60-caliber mortar shells, and the Al-Quds Brigades broadcast video clips of the bombing operations.
Later, Israeli Army Radio announced that a soldier was injured as a result of rockets being fired from Gaza at the “Shlomit” settlement, on Wednesday evening.
For its part, Israeli Channel 14 revealed that the Israeli occupation army evacuated a temporary military site on the Gaza Strip, fearing that resistance elements would infiltrate the Strip.
Occupation losses
Earlier Tuesday, the occupation army announced that 4 Israeli soldiers had been injured in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
The Israeli army said that 520 officers and soldiers have been seriously injured since the beginning of the war, and that 243 officers and soldiers are still receiving treatment for their injuries in the Gaza battles, 26 of whom have serious wounds.
The Israeli army said that 41 soldiers were killed by friendly fire and operational incidents, while 630 others were injured since the beginning of the war.
The Israeli army announced that 3,361 officers and soldiers had been injured since the beginning of the war, including 1,610 soldiers who had been injured since the start of the ground operation.
Bombing and ongoing operation
On the other hand, Israeli officials confirmed that the military operation would continue in Rafah, while the Israeli army spokesman said that the Gaza war is the most difficult in the world.
Meanwhile, Israeli bombing continues across the Gaza Strip. Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 4 were killed and 16 others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing of a house in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of the city of Rafah.
A number of Palestinians, including children, were also injured in an Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the vicinity of Kuwait Hospital in the center of Rafah.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 8 Palestinians, including 4 children, were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a residential apartment in the vicinity of the Al-Ibaki Mosque in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, while a martyr fell in a raid near Al-Tabaeen School in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood as well.
A number of victims of the Israeli bombing that targeted a house near the Al-Aybaki Mosque in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in central Gaza City arrived at the Baptist Hospital in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the southern Gaza Strip.
In the Khuza’a area, east of Khan Yunis, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that three people, including two women, were martyred and a number of members of the Al-Qara family were injured in an artillery shelling by the Israeli occupation forces that targeted their house. Our correspondent confirmed that the occupation forces continued to target the eastern areas of Khuza’a and Al-Fukhari.
For the seventh month, Israel has been waging a war on Gaza, leaving more than 113,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.
Israel continues the war despite the issuance of a resolution by the UN Security Council to stop the fighting immediately, and also despite the International Court of Justice demanding immediate measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
