At dawn on Wednesday, the Israeli army targeted a school housing displaced people in the Bureij camp and intensified its bombardment on the northern Gaza Strip, especially Beit Lahia, where besieged Palestinians face hunger and death.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that a Palestinian was martyred and others were injured as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted at dawn today tents for the displaced in a school affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Activists said on social media that the bombing resulted in the burning of at least 15 tents.

Before dawn, a Palestinian woman was martyred and others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Abu Arif area, south of Deir al-Balah, which is also located in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

At the same time, Israeli warplanes launched fire belts east of Deir al-Balah, according to Palestinian media.

Israeli warplanes also launched a raid on the Nuseirat camp and another south of the Bureij camp.

The center of the Gaza Strip recently witnessed an Israeli escalation, in addition to the ongoing escalation in the northern Gaza Strip.

At the same time, Israeli artillery bombed the Al-Sabra and Tal Al-Hawa neighborhoods in Gaza City.

North Gaza

Meanwhile, the pace of Israeli bombing escalated on areas in the northern Gaza Strip, especially Beit Lahia and the Jabalia camp.

The occupation forces continued intense artillery shelling, shelling, and fire around the shelter schools in Beit Lahia.

At dawn today, Israeli artillery carried out a violent bombardment on Jabalia camp, according to what Palestinian media reported.

Since the fifth of last October, the Israeli army has launched a large military operation in the northern Gaza Strip, and the ongoing aggression during this period has resulted in 3,700 martyrs and missing persons, 10,000 wounded, and 1,700 detainees, according to the Government Information Office in Gaza.

As part of this operation, the occupation forces targeted schools housing displaced people and hospitals.

Yesterday, Israeli Quadcopter drones targeted Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, wounding a number of people with injuries of varying severity.

Hospital director Hossam Abu Safiya said that the occupation drones targeted the facility for the fifth time, throwing bombs at it, which also resulted in damage to medical equipment.

It warns of a famine that could kill tens of thousands of Palestinians who are besieged and isolated from the world in the northern Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the Gaza Strip has been subjected to an unprecedented aggression that has so far left more than 400,500 martyrs and more than 105,000 injured.
