The occupation storms Tulkarm and Balata camp and clashes with the resistance | News

Hours ago, the Israeli army stormed the city of Tulkarm and Balata camp in the northern occupied West Bank, and armed clashes erupted between resistance fighters and the occupation forces that penetrated the two areas.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Youth of Revenge and Liberation – Balata Camp said that its fighters were able to “target the Zionist enemy forces storming Balata Camp and its surroundings with a heavy barrage of bullets and engaged in violent clashes with them.”

The official Palestinian news agency, WAFA, said that a group of occupation vehicles, accompanied by two heavy bulldozers, stormed the city of Tulkarm from its western axis, and began to bulldoze the infrastructure in the Al-Alimi area, while a reconnaissance plane flew over the city at a low altitude.

The agency also reported that a military bulldozer stormed Balata camp east of Nablus, leading to clashes with Palestinians. According to eyewitnesses, clashes broke out between Palestinian gunmen and the Israeli army at the entrance to the camp.

On Friday morning, the Israeli army withdrew from the cities of Tulkarm and Jenin and their camps in the northern occupied West Bank after a military operation that lasted about 10 days, but the army announced in a later statement that the operation in Jenin is still ongoing.

In parallel with its war on Gaza, the Israeli army expanded its operations and the settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, resulting in the martyrdom of 692 Palestinians and the injury of about 5,700, in addition to the detainees, according to official Palestinian institutions.

With American support, Israel waged a devastating war on Gaza, resulting in more than 135,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of dozens, in one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.

In contempt of the international community, Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate halt, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
