Confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces after they stormed on Friday evening and at dawn today a number of towns in the occupied West Bank, most notably the town of Kfardan, west of Jenin (north) and Beit Ummar, north of Hebron (south).

Members of the occupation army stormed the town of Kafardan, where armed clashes broke out with resistance fighters during the storming process. Israeli forces also conducted their patrols in the streets of the town before storming a number of homes.

Palestinian press sources reported that an armed clash took place between resistance fighters and the occupation forces, which also stormed the town of Burqin in Jenin.

Confrontations also broke out between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces after they stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, where they raided the center of the town, confiscated a number of vehicles, and searched citizens’ lands.

This came after it withdrew from the Al-Dhahr area in the town after conducting its patrols and erecting barriers in the area.

Local Palestinian platforms reported violent confrontations between Palestinian youth and the occupation forces that stormed the Jalazoun camp, north of Ramallah, in the central West Bank.

Injuries

Eight Palestinians were injured, including four seriously, during the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the vicinity of the Al-Amari refugee camp, south of the city of Al-Bireh.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that among the serious cases were a child and a young man whose vehicle in the camp was shot by the occupation forces.

The occupation forces stormed the city of Al-Bireh, surrounded a house in the vicinity of Al-Amari camp, and arrested a young man after wounding him, without knowing the reasons.

It also sent military reinforcements to the vicinity of the camp and the neighboring “Sahtah Marhaba” and “Umm Al-Sharayet” areas, which led to the outbreak of violent confrontations, during which the occupation forces fired live bullets and tear gas bombs at the Palestinians who tried to confront the intrusion.

Settler attacks

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces abused a Palestinian woman at the military checkpoint leading to the Tel Rumeida area in the center of the city of Hebron, in the south of the West Bank.

The occupation soldiers arrested the woman and tried to assault her after she refused to be searched, which prompted the residents of the area to intervene and fight with the occupation soldiers.

In Bethlehem, settlers set fire to Palestinian agricultural lands in the Ain Qadis area in the town of Husan, west of the city, causing extensive damage to the lands.

Ein Qadis is located close to the Beitar Illit settlement, making the area permanently vulnerable to settler attacks.

It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation army has significantly escalated its campaign of raids, arrests, and violations against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, since the start of its aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7th of last October. Settlers also intensified their attacks on the people of the West Bank and their property.

Since that day, the number of Palestinians who were martyred by bullets from the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank has reached more than 546, in addition to about 5,200 wounded, in addition to 9,170 arrested, according to official Palestinian authorities.
