The Israeli occupation forces stormed – at dawn on Thursday – the cities of Jenin and Tulkarm and towns near Nablus in the West Bank, and launched raids and arrests. While local Palestinian sources said that clashes were taking place between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupation forces during the storming of Jenin.

In the latest developments, local Palestinian media reported that the occupation forces raided homes housing doctors in the Jabriyat neighborhood in the city of Jenin, while an occupation bulldozer carried out sabotage and destruction of the infrastructure and property of residents on Al-Nazareth Street in the city of Jenin.

Palestinian sources indicated that the occupation forces arrested a young man who was shot, and prevented ambulance crews from reaching him in the Jabriyat neighborhood in the city of Jenin.

The sources also reported that the occupation forces arrested the mother of the pursuer, Mustafa Al-Masry, from Wadi Burqin in Jenin.

Nablus raids

In Nablus, the occupation forces stormed the village of Urif (south), the town of Tal, southwest of the city, and the village of Rujib, east of it.

Palestinian press sources also reported that the occupation forces arrested a young man when they stormed his house in the village of Duma, south of Nablus, and raided a number of homes.

Dozens of Palestinians suffocated yesterday evening as a result of the occupation army firing gas bombs during confrontations with Palestinian citizens in the town of Beita in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian News Agency quoted local sources as saying that the occupation forces stormed the town of Beita, south of the city of Nablus, amid heavy live bullets, sound bombs and gas bombs towards citizens and their homes.

The sources added that confrontations subsequently broke out between the occupation army and a number of Palestinians, as a result of which dozens of citizens suffocated.

Injured people in Jerusalem

In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation police announced yesterday that a Palestinian Jerusalemite was seriously injured and three others were slightly injured by gunfire from a group of soldiers in the Old City of Jerusalem.

The statement added, “Following the incident, 4 residents of East Jerusalem were transferred to receive medical treatment in the hospital, including one person in serious condition and three others in moderate condition, according to medical authorities.”

Video clips appeared to show a Palestinian lying on the ground with an injured arm and another tearing his shirt to treat the wound, while shop owners were screaming and asking the occupation police officers who were not far away to call an ambulance.

In conjunction with its devastating war on the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023, the occupation army has expanded its operations in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, while settlers intensified their attacks on Palestinians and their property, resulting in the martyrdom of 543 Palestinians and the injury of about 5,200 others, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health. .
