The occupation storms cities and villages in the West Bank and arrests 35 Palestinians News


At dawn on Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces stormed a number of cities and towns in the occupied West Bank and launched widespread raids and arrests, targeting dozens of Palestinians, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, amid clashes with the resistance in Qalqilya and Jenin.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Osrin, east of the city of Nablus, and also stormed the city of Al-Dhahiriya, south of the city of Hebron, from all its entrances, and the Al-Masayef neighborhood in the city of Ramallah, and the Al-Irsal neighborhood in the city of Al-Bireh.

Local media also reported that the occupation forces stormed the towns of Jayyus, north of Qalqilya, Beit Ibia, west of Nablus, Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and Zaatara, southeast of Bethlehem.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that the occupation forces re-stormed the Al-Dhahr area in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, for the second time within an hour.

The reporter reported that the occupation forces stormed the house of the martyr Ahmed Al-Wahsh in the town of Zaatara, southeast of Bethlehem.

Clashes

In turn, the Jenin Brigade of the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – said that it targeted the Israeli occupation forces with a barrage of bullets and explosive devices as they passed through the town of Silat Al-Harithiya in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Qalqilya Battalion, affiliated with the Al-Quds Brigades, also said that it, in cooperation with the “Leoth Al-Majd” groups, responded to the occupation forces that stormed the city of Qalqilya this morning.

In Jenin Governorate, clashes broke out between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupation forces during their storming of the town of Al-Yamoun.

Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces fired lighting bombs over the town and sent in additional military reinforcements.

Palestinian media said that members of the Palestinian Authority security services detonated explosive devices prepared by the resistance to confront the Israeli occupation incursions into the city of Tubas in the West Bank.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) said that two young men were injured last night during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the city of Qalqilya.

The Red Crescent reported that its crews transported two young men (17 and 19 years old) who were injured by live bullets.

Arrests

For its part, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said that the Israeli occupation arrested at least 35 Palestinians in the West Bank during the past 24 hours.

He confirmed that the occupation forces arrested 90 Palestinians, including children and women, in the West Bank during the days of Eid al-Adha.

He said that the occupation has arrested 9,280 Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7.

Yesterday evening, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that a young man was killed by Israeli army gunfire south of Bethlehem, and others were injured by occupation forces gunfire in several towns in the West Bank.

In conjunction with its ongoing war on Gaza since October 7, the Israeli occupation army escalated its incursions into the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, which resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of Palestinians and the injury of hundreds of them.
