Today, Sunday, the Israeli army intensified its raids on the northern Gaza Strip and central Halal in recent hours, resulting in the martyrdom of dozens of Palestinians. It also announced that dozens of its soldiers were injured in the ongoing battles with the resistance.
Today, Israeli aircraft launched intense air and artillery bombardment on the areas of Tal al-Zaatar, al-Qasaib, and al-Faluga in the Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.
In the latest developments, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that a drone targeted a group of citizens on Old Gaza Street in Jabalia al-Balad, killing two and wounding others.
The occupation aircraft also bombed sites on Al-Ajarma Street and the Jabalia refugee camp market, and Al-Jazeera’s correspondent reported that the occupation forces opened fire on shelter centers affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Al-Faluga area of the camp.
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hossam Abu Safiya, told Tel Aviv Tribune that 60 martyrs have arrived at the hospital since yesterday, Saturday, after the occupation bombed a densely populated residential square located next to the hospital, which is located north of Gaza.
Abu Safiya added that the hospital is suffering from a depletion of fuel stocks and a severe shortage of medical supplies and medicines. Pointing out that he is still providing health services, but at a minimum, and he has not left the service.
Martyrs in the streets
Earlier today, the Civil Defense in northern Gaza announced that it had recovered hundreds of martyrs in Jabalia and others were still under the rubble, stressing that the Israeli army had destroyed more than 300 homes since the beginning of its military operation in the city.
The Israeli army entered Jabalia more than a week ago, and says it is carrying out operations in the heart of the camp, and acknowledged that it is facing fierce resistance there.
In the central Gaza Strip, the death toll from the bombing launched by Israeli aircraft last night on the Nuseirat camp rose to 31 Palestinians, most of them children and women.
Two Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured in an Israeli bombing of Deir al-Balah, while 12 others were injured in a similar bombing on the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In the Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza City, 13 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that also targeted a house and a school last night, while artillery shelling continues on the Tal Al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajlin neighborhoods.
To the south, the Israeli army today carried out air strikes and artillery shelling on neighborhoods in Rafah.
In Khan Yunis, a Palestinian was martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing of the Khuza’a area.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today that the Israeli occupation committed 8 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, leaving 70 martyrs and 110 wounded.
This brings the total number of victims of the Israeli war on Gaza to 35,456 martyrs and 79,476 wounded since the seventh of last October.
Occupation losses
In military developments, the Israeli army announced today that two soldiers were killed and three, including an officer, were seriously injured in a mine explosion in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip yesterday.
The occupation army also announced that 44 soldiers and officers were injured in the battles in the Gaza Strip during the past two days, 8 of whom were seriously injured.
This brings the announced number of occupation deaths since the beginning of the current war to 630 soldiers and officers, including 292 killed since the beginning of the Israeli ground invasion of the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance factions are engaged in violent clashes in the axes east of Jabalia camp and east of Rafah.
Targeting and bombing
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced today that it had targeted an Israeli Merkava tank in the Jabalia camp, and it had also sniped an Israeli soldier in the Netzarim axis, south of Gaza City.
For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced that it, in conjunction with the Al-Qassam Brigades, bombed the headquarters of the Israeli army’s operations command in eastern Jabalia, with a number of mortar shells.
The brigades said that its members detonated a “lightning” shock device in a Merkava 4 tank near the “Timraz” station in the Jabalia camp at dawn today. They also clashed with an Israeli foot force with machine guns on “Al-Ternis” Street in the camp, confirming that members of the force were killed or wounded.
In the south of the Gaza Strip, the Al-Quds Brigades said that they were engaged in fierce clashes with the occupation forces east of Rafah. As for the Al-Qassam Brigades, they said they bombarded the occupation forces at the Rafah crossing with mortar shells. Yesterday, the Al-Qassam Brigade announced that it had killed 20 Israeli soldiers in two separate operations east of Rafah.
Today, Israeli Channel 12 quoted sources in the Israeli army as saying that a fourth military brigade had been brought into Rafah, bringing the number of brigades operating in Gaza to 9.
