The Israeli occupation forces stormed the ship, Handala, while it was approaching the Gaza Strip coast, about a week after its sailing from Italy.

Pictures of Israeli soldiers stormed the ship, which is carrying two activities seeking to break the siege on Gaza.

The Freedom Flotilla coalition said that the Israeli army attacked Handhala’s ship in international waters.

Prior to the interruption of contact with the ship, the crew made a distress call after Israeli forces went towards it.

The International Committee to break the siege on Gaza announced on Saturday evening that an Israeli path was flying over its ship, Handala, after reports of Israeli threats to control it.

The committee warned that all members of a ship, including representatives of European parliaments and artistic and media figures, will enter into an open hunger strike if the ship is intercepted.

The ship, Handala, has 21 international activists of multiple nationalities, in a new attempt to break the continuous blockade of Gaza for more than 17 years.

Since the ship sailing from the Italian port of Gallipoli last Sunday, the Freedom Fleet Alliance has been broadcasting its movements live through its account on the YouTube application, with the sharing of radar images in an instantaneous manner.
