For its part, local Palestinian sources said that clashes broke out between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupation forces during the storming of Jenin. Local Palestinian media also reported that the resistance targeted the occupation forces with a homemade device on Mahyoub Street in the city.

Injured people in Jerusalem

In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation police announced yesterday, Wednesday, that a Palestinian Jerusalemite was seriously injured and three others were slightly injured by gunfire from a group of soldiers in the Old City of Jerusalem.

The occupation police said in a statement, “The incident occurred on David Street (the bazaar) in the Old City, and it appears that a quarrel broke out between 4 Israeli young men who were walking in the street equipped with weapons – one of whom was an army soldier, in addition to two reserve soldiers and a civilian – and a number of local residents from East Jerusalem.” .

The statement added, “Following the incident, 4 residents of East Jerusalem were transferred to receive medical treatment in the hospital, including one person in serious condition and three others in moderate condition, according to medical authorities.”
