Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces forced the wounded and sick to evacuate the Indonesian Hospital, and targeted Kamal Adwan and Al Awda Hospitals, as part of a military campaign that has been ongoing for weeks to displace the residents of the northern Gaza Strip.
Munir Al-Bursh, Director-General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, said that the occupation forces ordered officials from the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia to evacuate it yesterday, Monday, before storming it in the early hours of Tuesday morning and forcing those inside to leave.
Reuters reported that many of those forced by the occupation to leave arrived at another hospital miles away in Gaza City, some of them on foot.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent explained that the evacuation of the Indonesian hospital coincided with an Israeli bombing that targeted Al Awda Hospital in Jabalia Camp.
Commenting on this development, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the occupation’s forcing of medical staff, patients and displaced persons in the Indonesian hospital to leave the Indonesian hospital is a continuation of war crimes, and added that the international community is required to break out of the state of silence and unjustified helplessness in the face of what it described as the crimes of the fascist occupation.
For his part, Muhammad Salha, Acting Director of Al Awda Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, said that the occupation forces targeted the third floor of the hospital on Tuesday morning, where dozens of patients were lying.
Salha added in a statement to Tel Aviv Tribune that these violations are practiced by the occupation on a daily basis by targeting everything that moves inside or around Al Awda Hospital.
The operation to evacuate the Indonesian hospital and target other nearby hospitals comes as the Israeli army announced the expansion of its operations in the northern Gaza Strip.
Since the fifth of last October, the occupation army has launched a military operation that resulted in the martyrdom of about 4,000 Palestinians, the injury of thousands of others, and the displacement of tens of thousands, while 40 Israeli soldiers were killed by the Palestinian resistance during this period, according to official Israeli data.
Bombing and explosive robots
Meanwhile, the director of Kama Adwan Hospital, Hossam Abu Safiya, said that the Israeli occupation forces began sending, for the first time, yesterday, Monday, explosive robots to the vicinity of the hospital, to later work on detonating them, which posed a great danger to everyone in the hospital.
Abu Safiya added that 20 people were injured as a result of the Israeli attacks in various departments of the hospital, including 5 medical staff members, explaining that they currently still have more than 65 medical cases after the evacuation they were forced to undergo yesterday, Monday.
The director of Al Awda Hospital confirmed that the conditions in the medical facility are becoming more dangerous in light of the occupation forces once again targeting electricity generators and destroying all barriers and internal doors, calling for the establishment of a safe corridor to enter all necessary supplies and aid and to protect health sector workers from direct Israeli targets and attacks.
For his part, Marwan Al-Hams, director of field hospitals in the Gaza Strip, told Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation forces are intensifying their attacks on hospitals in the north without a clear reason, and are killing patients and medical staff by bombing, siege, and starvation.
In this context, Munir Al-Bersh, Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, said that the Israeli occupation is escalating its targeting of hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, and wants to repeat the scenario of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, where it deliberately detonated explosive robots in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital, and also surrounded the Indonesian hospital with more than 50 bombs. tank.
Al-Bersh warned that forcing the injured and sick to leave hospitals will lead to the death of children and the elderly and serious cases.
