Today, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished two homes, a restaurant, and agricultural facilities in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Governorate said – on its Facebook page – that the occupation forces, with the help of bulldozers, demolished in the town of Hizma, north of Jerusalem, “the house of the Jerusalemite citizen Faris Salah al-Din, which had an area of ​​about 200 square metres.”

She added that the demolition also included “another house under construction belonging to the Jerusalemite citizen Habis Ali, in addition to the demolition of olive trees and stone chains in the area.”

In the town of Beit Hanina, also north of Jerusalem, the governorate stated that “occupation vehicles demolished a commercial store in the town of Beit Hanina after closing the street leading to it and preventing people from entering its vicinity.”

For its part, the Wadi Hilweh Human Rights Information Center said that the Israeli police raided the town of Al-Issawiya and began issuing violations and random fines against citizens’ vehicles.

According to a report by the Jerusalem Governorate, the occupation authorities carried out 423 demolition operations in Jerusalem since the occupation escalated its measures in the city coinciding with the start of the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, until December 21 of this year.
