The occupation demolishes the home of a Palestinian widow in Jerusalem news


The Israeli occupation forces demolished a house owned by a Palestinian widow and her only son, in the Jabal Mukaber neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.

Abdul Rahman Ayed Halsa told Tel Aviv Tribune Net that his mother, Widad Halsa, built the house with difficulty and self-effort 13 years ago, and today it was demolished and its contents destroyed, after he and his mother were removed from it.

Meanwhile, uncle Muhammad Halsa explains that his sister, the owner of the house, took the necessary steps to license it by the occupation town in Jerusalem, but it was demolished without warning.

According to Jerusalem Governorate data, the occupation authorities carried out 439 demolition operations in Jerusalem since the start of the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023 until the end of 2024.
