Occupied Jerusalem- On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished 5 Palestinian facilities in the occupied city of Jerusalem, including 3 homes, a car wash, and a printing press.
The demolition included the facilities in question under the pretext of being built without a permit from the occupation municipality in Jerusalem, which is almost impossible for Jerusalemites to obtain.
The Jerusalem Governorate said that the occupation forces forced Al-Maqdisi Ismail Halhouli to demolish his house consisting of 3 residential apartments in the town of Silwan in Jerusalem, and then the demolition was completed by bulldozers of the occupation municipality. The governorate reported that the demolition also included a printing press and a car wash in the town of Al-Issawiya, east of Jerusalem.
For his part, Muhammad Rubin Alyan, owner of the printing press, told Tel Aviv Tribune Net that he had taken the necessary measures to license the printing press building within the house plan, and obtained the necessary approvals after paying a fine of 48 thousand shekels (about 12 thousand and 700 dollars), and yet it was demolished.
He added that the printing press constitutes a major source of livelihood for his family and has been in the same place for 14 years, but he was surprised by the Israeli forces attack today to demolish it.
