Medical sources reported to Tel Aviv Tribune that 58 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn today, coinciding with the intensification of the occupation’s targeting of the remaining hospitals in the Strip.
The sources said that 26 Palestinians were martyred in the northern Gaza Strip, in raids that targeted homes inhabited by residents and displaced people.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated on Friday that at least 45,658 Palestinians were killed and 108,583 were injured in the Israeli military attack on the Strip since October 7, 2023.
In Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that two Palestinians were martyred and others injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a commercial warehouse housing displaced people east of the city.
Palestinian ambulance crews transferred the bodies of the two martyrs and a number of the injured to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that two Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in a bombing that targeted a civilian car in the town of Al-Zawaida, in the central Gaza Strip.
The reporter added that Palestinian ambulance crews transported the injured and the bodies of the two martyrs, with the help of the families, to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 9 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli raid that targeted a house near the entrance to the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Bombings and marches
In the northern Gaza Strip, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that 5 people were killed in an Israeli air strike that targeted Palestinians at the gate of “Al-Shifa Hospital” west of Gaza City, while the occupation demanded the immediate evacuation of medical staff, patients, and workers at “Al-Awda Hospital,” threatening to bomb the hospital on those inside it.
In the same context, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent in Gaza reported that two Palestinians were injured by Israeli march fire that targeted Souq Street in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
Ambulances transported the injured to Baptist Hospital, and doctors described the condition of some of them as moderate.
Israeli vehicles and marches continue to fire at homes in the Al-Saftawi area, northwest of Gaza City.
In the south, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that two people were killed and others were injured in raids by Israeli marches targeting Palestinians in the Khirbet Al-Adas area, north of the city of Rafah. Civil defense crews were able to evacuate the bodies of two martyrs and a number of injured people.
Evacuation of hospitals
On the other hand, the occupation army demanded that those in the “Indonesian Hospital” evacuate immediately. Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent quoted those trapped in the hospital as demanding guarantees that the occupation would not attack them during their exit.
The besieged people said that they included women, the elderly, children, people with disabilities, and injured people who could not move at all.
In this context, the spokesman for the Civil Defense Service in the Gaza Strip, Major Mahmoud Basal, said that the Israeli occupation wants to implement the generals’ plan in the northern Gaza Strip.
In an interview with Tel Aviv Tribune, Basal called on the Israeli occupation to lift its hand from the health system and the civil defense system in the Gaza Strip.
On Friday, the Israeli army warned medical staff and patients to evacuate Al-Awda Hospital in the Tal Al-Zaatar area of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, and threatened to bomb it in furtherance of the genocide it has been committing for about 15 months.
The hospital administration said – in a statement – that “the Israeli occupation demands that the medical staff, patients, and all workers in the hospital evacuate immediately, otherwise it will be bombed with those inside it.”
This comes within the framework of the Israeli intention to target the health system in Gaza, especially in the North Governorate, where in 8 months, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights recorded more than 136 Israeli raids on at least 27 hospitals and 12 medical facilities in the Strip, according to a report issued last Monday.
For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the occupation army’s attack this morning on the “Indonesian Hospital” and the surrounding area, and setting fire to a number of schools and homes around the hospital, is a continuation of the plan of genocide and displacement against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas called on the international community, especially the World Health Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross, to take action to stop the occupation’s crime against what remains of the medical sector.
The Free Peoples Movement also called for victory for the Palestinian people, and to move to maintain pressure on Israel, to stop its crimes that have been continuing for more than 15 months, with the support and complicity of the American administration.
Warning before targeting
On Friday, the Israeli army warned the Palestinians in the Bureij area in the central Gaza Strip to evacuate in preparation for a military attack.
Through the X platform, the Israeli army spokesman told the Arab media, Avichai Adraee, that he is directing his warning to the residents of the Gaza Strip who are in the Bureij area.
He added, “They moved immediately to the humanitarian zone,” as he put it, while there is no place in the Strip that is not targeted by the Israeli army.
Adraee continued, “This is a prior warning before an attack, and shortly after our forces announced an attempt to intercept a missile launched from the center of the Gaza Strip towards the surrounding settlements.”
The Israeli army usually issues such warnings and follows them with air strikes without giving the Palestinians time to evacuate the area, which results in many casualties.
