Israeli aircraft and artillery bombed large areas in the Gaza Strip on Sunday night – Monday, most notably a school housing displaced people in the Nuseirat camp, leaving dozens dead and wounded, while internet services were halted in areas in the south and center of the Strip due to the Israeli aggression.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that three people, including a woman and a child, were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment of Khalid bin al-Walid School east of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent added that the martyrs and wounded arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, and most of them are in critical condition.
In Deir al-Balah, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that the occupation aircraft’s bombing of a house near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital left 5 martyrs, including 4 children, and a number of wounded.
Seven people were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment of Kafr Qasim School, which shelters displaced people in the Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza.
In the northern Gaza Strip, a number of Palestinians were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a house near the Nassar junction in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, rescue teams continue to search for missing persons under the rubble of the destroyed house.

In Gaza City, the Israeli occupation artillery renewed its violent shelling of the southwestern neighborhoods of Gaza City for the third time tonight.
Al-Aqsa TV channel said that the occupation tanks fired their heavy machine guns and cannons around the university college in the south of Gaza City.
The occupation helicopters also fired at citizens’ homes in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
On Sunday evening, medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 23 people were killed in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip within 24 hours.
Human suffering
Meanwhile, the displaced people in the southern Gaza Strip are going through tragic conditions due to the heavy rains that flooded their dilapidated tents and destroyed their contents.
These difficult circumstances have exacerbated the humanitarian situation of thousands of displaced persons who suffer from a lack of water, food and medicine, in addition to the dangers they are exposed to daily as a result of the ongoing Israeli bombardment of the Strip for 11 months.
Internet down
In a related context, the Palestinian Telecommunications Company “Paltel” announced on Sunday that internet services were suspended in the southern and central areas of the Gaza Strip, due to the Israeli aggression.
The company said in a brief statement on the X platform, “We regret to announce the suspension of internet services in the areas of Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah due to the aggression.”
“Our crews are working hard to restore services as soon as possible,” she added.
Since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, communications and internet services have been cut off several times in the entire Strip or large areas of it as a result of the intensive Israeli bombing targeting the communications network infrastructure.
With full American support, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, resulting in more than 137,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children.
In contempt of the international community, Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate halt, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
