The Israeli occupation continued its crimes of genocide, displacement, and starvation in the northern Gaza Strip, which have been continuing for 75 days, with the escalation of its attacks on hospitals, as it directly targeted Kamal Adwan and Al-Awda hospitals, resulting in martyrs and wounded, in addition to the outbreak of fire in the intensive care department of Kamal Adwan Hospital, while causing… The Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip resulted in the death and injury of a number of Palestinians.

Kamal Adwan Hospital

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation forces advanced with dozens of tanks and bulldozers in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital, coinciding with intense fire from tanks and marches towards the hospital buildings, which led to a fire in the hospital’s intensive care department, destroying and damaging most of the equipment and putting it out of service.

Hospital Director Hossam Abu Safia described the situation in the hospital, especially the intensive care department, as “very catastrophic and still dangerous.”

Abu Safiya said, “We were surprised by the entry of vehicles and bulldozers into the vicinity of the hospital, which was preceded by frightening targeting of citizens’ homes in its vicinity. We were hearing gunfire and shells but were unable to do anything.”

He added in a video recorded in front of the department from which smoke appeared, “Sudden and insane shooting was launched at the hospital with all types of weapons, and the occupation deliberately targeted the intensive care department by clearly shooting at it.”

He continued, “Miraculously, we evacuated the patients who were on ventilators from the intensive care department, and a fire caught fire inside it,” noting that it was “the only department in the northern Gaza Strip.”

He pointed out that “the workers tried to extinguish the fire with simple tools, especially since the hospital has been suffering from a water shortage for 8 days after the Israeli army targeted the tanks and the water network.”

He added, “Now the intensive care department is out of service and the situation is catastrophic. We have appealed to the world for more than 75 days about the necessity of protecting the health system and its workers, but there is no response.”

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that the Israeli army detonated explosive robots in buildings and houses near Kamal Adwan Hospital.

The witnesses added that the occupation army fired fire and shells at the houses surrounding the hospital, which contain displaced Palestinians in addition to their owners, and that the fate of those inside them is not yet known, while the Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that there were martyrs and wounded as a result of those attacks.

Al Awda Hospital

In addition to Kamal Adwan Hospital, the occupation also targeted this morning Al Awda Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip governorate, where injuries occurred among medical staff and patients in the hospital after the occupation detonated a robot near the hospital.

Al Awda Hospital has been suffering from a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies for more than 4 months, in addition to an interruption in fuel supplies, which hinders the proper operation of the hospital.

Martyrs and wounded

Today, two Palestinians were martyred in a bombing on the northwest of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. Two Palestinians were also martyred and others were injured in the bombing by an Israeli march on a tent housing displaced persons in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip as well.

The body of a martyr arrived at Nasser Medical Complex in the city of Khan Yunis following an Israeli bombing of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. The Civil Defense in Gaza also announced the death of a Palestinian and the injury of others after occupation tanks opened fire on citizens in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah.

A number of people were injured in an Israeli raid that targeted a house on Al-Sahaba Street in the center of Gaza City, while marches targeted homes in the vicinity of the Al-Musalba area in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of the city.

Earlier, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that 8 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip, which has been suffering from a cut in medical and food aid since last October 5.

In this context, the spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephane Dujarric, said that Israel still rejects efforts to deliver aid to the northern Gaza Strip. He stated in a press conference that most of the UN-led aid missions to northern Gaza, especially those trying to reach the besieged areas, are rejected.

The Israeli war of genocide on the northern Gaza Strip left more than 4,000 dead or missing, in addition to 12,000 wounded and 1,750 detainees.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 152,000 Palestinians martyred and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly.
