The Israeli occupation continued its aggression against Gaza for the 96th day, targeting the Strip with multiple raids that resulted in martyrs, coinciding with its admission that its soldiers were killed and wounded in the battles.
An Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent said that one person was killed and 5 wounded were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted a car near the Palestine Stadium in the Al-Rimal neighborhood in Gaza.
Palestinians were also injured after Israeli forces opened fire on citizens in the Nuseirat refugee camp market in the central Gaza Strip.
The reporter reported that 4 bodies of martyrs were recovered after they were killed by occupation sniper fire in the center of Khan Yunis yesterday, Tuesday.
It was also reported that 3 martyrs were killed in an Israeli artillery shelling targeting farmers east of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
Palestinians were martyred and others, most of them children and women, were injured in an Israeli bombing of two homes in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
According to the reporter, 58 Palestinians were martyred and dozens wounded in Israeli bombing on the central Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced – in a statement issued yesterday, Tuesday – that the death toll as a result of the Israeli aggression had risen to 23,210 martyrs, in addition to the injury of 59,167 others, since October 7, 2023.
Israeli losses
On the other hand, the Israeli army announced that a reserve officer from the combat ambulance unit was killed last night, and a reserve soldier was seriously injured during the battles taking place in the central Gaza Strip.
Thus, the death toll in the occupation army, including soldiers and officers, since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and the war on Gaza on the 7th of last October has risen to 520, including 192 dead since the start of the ground operation on the 26th of last October.
Yesterday, Tuesday, Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari announced that 6 soldiers were killed and 14 wounded in the bombing of an ammunition truck in Bureij, and said that the occupation army is investigating what happened.
The Israeli military spokesman also said that the army attacked more than 150 targets in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
The occupation aircraft bombed many of what the military spokesman described as “militants” in the Al-Maghazi area and in Khan Yunis. He also announced the discovery of 15 tunnel openings, missile launchers, and combat means.
Harvest resistance
Abu Ubaida, the military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said, “During the past week, Al-Qassam fighters were able to completely or partially destroy 42 Israeli military vehicles, and killed 22 Israeli soldiers from zero distance, in addition to killing dozens.” He was wounded in 52 different military missions.”
Al-Qassam fighters also shot down, according to a statement they issued, an Israeli Hermes 900 reconnaissance plane, and seized an Israeli Skylark reconnaissance plane and two drones.
Abu Ubaida added, “Al-Qassam fighters directed an intense missile barrage towards Tel Aviv and its surroundings, and destroyed the headquarters, field command rooms, and Israeli military crowds with mortar shells and short-range missiles on all fronts of the fighting.”
Bombing military crowds
In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – announced on Wednesday the bombing of Israeli military crowds with a barrage of mortar shells around the station area in Khan Yunis.
It also announced that it bombarded Israeli army soldiers and vehicles with mortar shells in the southern Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
The Al-Quds Brigades had previously broadcast images that it said were of targeting an Israeli force that had barricaded itself in a building in Khan Yunis.
The Al-Quds Brigades also broadcast pictures that it said were of targeting the occupation forces in the Central Governorate of Gaza with mortar shells.
Al-Quds Brigades spokesman Abu Hamza said, “Talk about returning settlers to the Gaza Strip while the aggression continues is an illusion.”
He added, “The occupation’s goal of eliminating the resistance has not and will not be achieved, even if the war continues indefinitely.”
