A number of martyrs fell in various areas of the Gaza Strip, while dozens of bodies were still lying on the road in the North Governorate, on the sixth day of the occupation forces’ siege of the North.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that there were martyrs and wounded in a series of Israeli raids that targeted two homes in the areas of Al-Alami and Tal Al-Zaatar in the Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces continue to besiege Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip, for the sixth day in a row.
The Gaza Civil Defense said that the Israeli occupation army is imposing a strict siege on the northern Gaza Strip, completely isolating it from Gaza City.
He added that the occupation army has been preventing, since last Sunday morning, the entry of basic supplies into the northern Gaza Governorate, threatening the lives of Palestinians there.
The Civil Defense explained that dozens of bodies are still lying in the roads and have not been recovered due to the continuous and violent Israeli bombing.
He revealed that the Israeli occupation army destroyed the infrastructure in the North Governorate, making movement there almost impossible.
Evacuation of hospitals
The Civil Defense in Gaza warned that evacuating hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip would lead to a complete collapse of the health system and double the population’s suffering.
On the other hand, medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 56 martyrs were killed in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn today, including 26 martyrs in the bombing of the Rufaydah School, which shelters displaced people west of the city of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.
The government media office in the Gaza Strip said that the occupation army deliberately bombed the school, because it was aware that this school contained thousands of displaced children and women.
The office explained that this massacre brings the number of shelter and displacement centers bombed by the occupation to 190 centres.
He called on the international community and international organizations to put pressure on the occupation, to stop the crime of genocide, and to stop the continuation of massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
5 massacres
In the same context, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that, during the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation forces committed 5 massacres in the Strip, of which 55 martyrs and 166 wounded arrived at hospitals.
This brings the total number of martyrs who have fallen since last October 7, as a result of the Israeli aggression, to 42,65 martyrs, while the number of those injured reached 97,886.
On the other hand, the Secretary-General of Doctors Without Borders, Christopher Lockyer, said that it is unacceptable to target medical personnel and humanitarian workers in Gaza and Lebanon.
In an interview with Tel Aviv Tribune, Lockyer stressed the need to stop targeting medical facilities immediately.
