Two Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation army bullets in the city of Salfit in the occupied West Bank in clashes at dawn on Friday, amid widespread incursions into cities and villages in the West Bank.

The raids were concentrated in the villages of Beit Furik, Beita, Kafr Qalil, and Qabalan, south and east of Nablus Governorate, in the north of the West Bank, where the occupation forces raided several neighborhoods and homes as part of night raids in various areas in the West Bank, searching for those they described as wanted persons.

The occupation forces also stormed the villages of Budrus and Qubayya, west of Ramallah, in the middle of the West Bank, and conducted patrols in the two villages. This included attacks on a number of Palestinians before those forces withdrew. The incursions also included the city of Hebron, the Jabal Abu Rumman area, and the towns of Al-Dhaheriya and Beit Ummar.

Israeli forces arrested a young man in the town of Tammoun, south of Tubas, after raiding his home and the homes of a number of village residents, and deployed snipers on the roofs of several homes. They also arrested another young man from the town of Beit Ummar, and two young men from the town of Kafr Qalil, south of Nablus.

Withdrawal from Tulkarm

Meanwhile, the occupation forces withdrew from the city of Tulkarm and its camp after a military operation that lasted 45 hours.

Yesterday, Thursday, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported the death of a young man, bringing the number of martyrs in the Israeli military operation in Tulkarm and Nour Shams camp to 8 during Wednesday and Thursday.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement yesterday evening, Thursday, that its crews received a martyr from inside the Tulkarm camp.

Eyewitnesses said that the body was that of the martyr Muhammad Salit (22 years old), who was martyred on Wednesday by occupation bullets, which prevented ambulance crews from reaching his body.

The military operation left major damage to the infrastructure of the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, and the occupation forces demolished homes and arrested dozens of Palestinians.

The number of martyrs in the West Bank increased

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday, Thursday, that the number of martyrs who were killed in the West Bank by occupation bullets had risen to 368 martyrs, 97 of whom were children, since the seventh of last October.

The Ministry indicated that the number of wounded rose to 4,212 Palestinians, including 637 children.

The occupation army has launched a series of incursions and raids into cities, towns and camps in the West Bank since October 7, coinciding with its aggression against the Gaza Strip, and usually leaves martyrs and wounded.
