The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the toll of the genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinian people has risen to 45,541 martyrs and 108,338 injured since October 7, 2023.

The Ministry said, in its daily statistical statement, that the Israeli occupation army committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 27 martyrs and 149 injuries reached hospitals during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry indicated that there are victims under the rubble of destroyed homes and on the roads, but civil defense and ambulance crews are unable to reach them due to the repeated Israeli targeting of them.

Jabalia bombing

In a related context, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 4 Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli bombing on Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.

The Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent had previously reported that Israeli artillery shelling continued on large areas in the northern Gaza Strip, adding that the bombing was more concentrated in the vicinity of “Kamal Adwan Hospital,” which was burned by the occupation forces two days ago.

In Gaza City, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that occupation artillery targeted the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of the city, and also fired a missile at displaced people who left the center of Jabalia camp towards Gaza City.

The suffering of the displaced

In addition to the bombing and destruction, the Government Information Office in Gaza reported that the number of deaths due to extreme cold and frost waves had risen to 7 among the displaced whose homes were destroyed by the occupation, adding that the number is likely to increase due to the tragic conditions.

For its part, the Gaza Governorate Municipality said that thousands of displaced Palestinians are living in tragic conditions due to the repercussions of the air depression hitting the Gaza Strip, accompanied by heavy rains and storms, in light of the lack of capabilities and alternatives for shelter.

Gaza municipality spokesman Assem Al-Nabih said that the displaced people are suffering from very tragic conditions, as rain water has flooded their tents.

Al-Nabih added that rainwater drainage and sewage operations are almost complicated due to the massive damage to sewage and rainwater networks.

He revealed that the damage included all sewage stations and pumps, and affected 175,000 meters of sewage networks and 15,000 meters of rain drainage networks in Gaza City.

Al-Nabih called on international organizations to intervene to alleviate the suffering of the people of Gaza and provide the minimum services under these difficult circumstances.

The New York Times quoted a spokeswoman for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) as saying, “Children in Gaza are suffering from cold and illness, and many of them are wearing summer clothes.”

Since October 7, 2023, in front of the entire world – and with American support – Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza that left more than 153,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded – most of them children and women – and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly. In one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
