The Israeli occupation army began a new military operation in Beit Hanoun and expanded its incursion into the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, while the Palestinian resistance clashed with its forces south of Rafah.

The Israeli army said that the Northern Brigade began the new operation in Beit Hanoun during the past days to destroy the infrastructure of Palestinian fighters in the region.

He added that the Netzah Yehuda Brigade, which is supervised by Jewish rabbis, is participating in the operation, and broadcast clips of raids launched in Beit Hanoun.

In this context, Israeli Army Radio announced today that a soldier from this battalion was seriously injured in battles in the northern Gaza Strip.

Occupation losses

Yesterday, the Israeli army announced the killing of 3 soldiers, including an officer with the rank of major, in the battles taking place in this axis.

The announcement of the killing of the three soldiers came after the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that it had carried out operations, including the sniping of 3 soldiers in this axis.

Also in the developments of the battles, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation army was intensifying its firing, coinciding with the expansion of its incursion into the Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

The resistance is waging fierce battles with the forces penetrating the Jabalia camp, and in the past few days has resulted in deaths and injuries.

In the southern Gaza Strip, the resistance engaged in clashes with the occupation forces in the vicinity of Salah al-Din Gate, near the Egyptian border, south of Rafah.

Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that it bombed military crowds and vehicles penetrating southeast of Rafah with mortar shells.

Al-Saraya added that it bombed today a center for maintaining occupation vehicles east of the Central Governorate with a “107” missile salvo, causing direct hits.

In recent days, specific operations were carried out against the forces invading eastern Rafah, including ambushes, bombing tunnel openings, and targeting tanks and other vehicles.

A significant increase

Regarding the Israeli army’s losses, the “Ynet” website affiliated with the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper revealed that Israeli hospitals reported a significant increase in the number of wounded soldiers who entered them to receive treatment following the intensive operations in Rafah and the central and northern regions of Gaza.

Data collected by the website Yedioth Ahronoth showed that nearly 100 soldiers were airlifted from the Gaza Strip to major hospitals in Israel.

According to Israeli army statistics, 3,543 soldiers have been injured since the beginning of the war, 546 of whom were seriously injured, and the rest had light to moderate injuries.

The figures showed that since the start of ground operations in Gaza, 1,752 soldiers were injured, 349 of whom were in serious condition. Figures collected by Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth showed that 714 soldiers were injured in operational incidents.

Dozens of martyrs

Meanwhile, the occupation army continued today to target residential areas in the Gaza Strip after committing new massacres against civilians at dawn today and last night.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that two Palestinians were injured today as a result of a bombing by an Israeli drone on the market area in the center of Rafah. The Palestinian Red Crescent also reported the death of Najm Tabasi, a mental health volunteer at the Red Crescent, and his wife as a result of the occupation’s bombing of their home in Rafah, which brings the number of Red Crescent martyrs in the Gaza Strip since October 7 to 29, of whom 17 were targeted by the occupation while carrying out their humanitarian work. .

Also in Rafah, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that Israeli marches threw firebombs at boats and fishermen’s equipment in the city’s port.

In the central Gaza Strip, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that a person was martyred in a bombing targeting members of the National Security of the Ministry of Interior at the Saraya Junction. Eight Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in a bombing of a house north of the Nuseirat camp.

The correspondent had previously reported that 35 people, including children, had been martyred as a result of Israeli raids on various areas of the Gaza Strip during the past hours.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 16 Palestinians, including 10 children, were martyred after the occupation bombed a house in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City, and the five-story house was leveled to the ground.

In the northern Gaza Strip, the occupation forces stormed Al-Awda Hospital in Tal Al-Zaatar after besieging it for the fourth day in a row, and forced the medical teams to leave it towards western Gaza after arresting one of its members.

Yesterday evening, the occupation forces burned shelter centers belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) on Hamdan Street in the Fallujah area.
