Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that an Israeli special force assassinated two young Palestinians in the center of the city of Qalqilya, north of the occupied West Bank. The Israeli occupation army also carried out on Friday a campaign of raids in cities and towns in the West Bank, accompanied by arrests and the destruction of Palestinian vehicles and property.

The reporter added that special forces from the occupation army infiltrated Qalqilya this afternoon, intercepted a car, and heavily armed soldiers opened fire on its passengers, dragging them out of the car while they were bleeding.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the occupation forces deliberately assassinated the two young men, prevented ambulance crews from reaching them, then confiscated the targeted vehicle and seized the bodies of the martyrs.

For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said in a brief statement, “The occupation forces carried out a cowardly assassination against two of its mujahideen, the martyrs Mahmoud Hassan Mansour (28 years old) and Ihab Abu Hamed (29 years old).”

Thus, the death toll in the West Bank rises to 552 Palestinians, including 132 children, since October 7, according to Ministry of Health data.

Storms and arrests

The occupation forces stormed the city of Qalqilya at dawn on Friday, besieged the neighborhoods of Kafr Saba, the city center, and the Nazzal neighborhood, and raided a number of homes.

The occupation forces arrested a Palestinian for the third time, to pressure his son to surrender himself, claiming that he was wanted by them.

In a related context, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that a young Palestinian man was injured by Israeli occupation bullets in Qaddoura Camp, in the city of Ramallah.

The occupation forces stormed the city and raided the camp amidst gunfire, which resulted in a citizen being injured by a bullet in the thigh. The Red Crescent was able to transfer him to the Palestine Medical Complex some time after he was detained by the occupation forces.

Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces stormed the Qaddoura and Jalazoun camps in Ramallah Governorate, which led to the outbreak of confrontations with Palestinians, during which the army used live bullets and tear gas bombs.

Witnesses indicated that Israeli forces arrested 9 citizens from the two camps before they withdrew.

The Israeli occupation forces also arrested two Palestinians, one of whom was a high school student, during their raid on homes in the town of Allar, north of Tulkarm in the West Bank.

The occupation military vehicles stormed the town from its western axis, roamed its streets, and destroyed Palestinian property and vehicles, before withdrawing.

The occupation army also carried out incursions into a number of towns in the Bethlehem and Hebron governorates in the early hours of dawn, before withdrawing from them later.

On a daily basis, the Israeli army storms cities and towns in the West Bank to arrest those it calls “wanted people.” It usually assaults Palestinians and destroys public and private property, as part of a phase of escalation supervised by the army and settlers since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip on the 7th of May. Last October.

That war, which enjoyed absolute American support, left nearly 123,000 Palestinians martyred and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of dozens of children.
