Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation army forces withdrew from the city of Jenin and its camp in the northern West Bank, after the assassination of 3 resistance fighters and the wounding of a number of civilians, and clashes took place between the resistance and the occupation forces.
The director of Jenin Governmental Hospital said that the martyrs were: Ibrahim Taher Muhammad al-Saadi, Issa Nafez Jallad, and Uday Ayman Mar’i, adding that 15 injured people were transferred to the city’s hospitals.
For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews dealt with 8 injuries during the occupation’s storming of Jenin camp, including 5 injuries by live bullets, two injuries by shrapnel from live bullets, and the injury of a citizen after he was run over by a military vehicle.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that a special force from the occupation army infiltrated the Jenin camp, before the occupation military vehicles stormed the city, accompanied by bulldozers.
Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces surrounded a house inside the camp and bombed it with Energa shells, while military reinforcements from the occupation army arrived at the site.
The correspondent pointed out that the occupation used Apache helicopters during the storming operation, and that it was the third time that the occupation had used military aircraft in the West Bank since last October 7.
The occupation forces fired bullets at the main electricity transformer in the camp, which led to a power outage. They besieged the city’s hospitals, prevented ambulance crews from transporting the injured or from moving around, prevented journalists from covering, and fired live bullets at them.
In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Brigade said in a statement that its fighters were engaged in “violent clashes after detecting a special force in the vicinity of the Jenin camp, the Jabriyat area, and raining bullets on it, causing direct casualties among members of the force that attempted to infiltrate the area.”
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent stated that the Al-Qassam Brigades in Jenin confronted the intruding forces, detonated homemade explosive devices, and clashed with them later.
A young Palestinian man was martyred at dawn today, Thursday, after the occupation forces shot him in the town of Ya`bad, southwest of Jenin.
The martyr’s trace was lost since the early hours of dawn, and he was found this morning.
Since the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, the occupation army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which resulted in the death of 530 Palestinians and the injury of about 5,000.
