Yesterday evening, Monday, clashes broke out between Palestinian resistance fighters and the Israeli occupation forces as they stormed several areas in the West Bank, especially in Nablus and Bethlehem, where a Palestinian child and a woman were injured by live bullets due to the confrontations.

Sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that clashes broke out with members of the Israeli army during their storming of the vicinity of Al-Ain camp, west of Nablus, in the north of the occupied West Bank.

Confrontations were also recorded between Palestinians and the occupation forces during the storming of the village of Odla, south of the city.

The official Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that “a child was injured by occupation bullets, following the storming of the town of Beita, south of Nablus.”

“Wafa” quoted the mayor of Beita as saying, “The occupation forces stormed the town amid heavy firing of bullets and gas bombs, which led to the outbreak of confrontations in the area, resulting in a child being injured by live bullets in the foot, and he was transferred to Rafidiya Hospital in the city to receive treatment.”

Sources confirmed to Tel Aviv Tribune that a Palestinian woman was injured by live bullets by the occupation army during confrontations with Palestinians in Husan, west of Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank.

Members of the Israeli army also stormed the city of Tulkarm and the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya.

Local sources reported that Israeli special forces from the Musta’rab arrested a Palestinian after assaulting him in Al-Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem.

Settler attacks

On the other hand, local Palestinian sources reported that extremist settlers attacked citizens’ vehicles at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh in the middle of the occupied West Bank.

Settlers also bulldozed Palestinian land and began cultivating it in Khalayel al-Lawz, southeast of Bethlehem.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli army expanded its operations, and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in parallel with the ongoing aggression against Gaza since October 7, 2023, which resulted in 824 martyrs and about 6,500 wounded, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
