Today, Monday, marks the first anniversary of the start of the Israeli occupation, with American support, a genocidal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza, which has, to date, resulted in more than 139,000 martyrs and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly.

The occupation turned Gaza into the largest prison in the world, besieging it for the 18th year, and the aggression against the Strip forced about two million of its citizens, numbering about 2.3 million Palestinians, to flee in catastrophic conditions, with severe and deliberate scarcity of food, water and medicine.

Tel Aviv continues the war of genocide, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end it immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of “genocide” and improve the miserable humanitarian situation in Gaza.
