On the 95th day of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army announced the killing of 9 officers and soldiers and the wounding of 27 others during the past 24 hours. It said that it had expanded its operations in Khan Yunis, south of the Strip, while the resistance engaged in violent clashes with its forces in the north.

In parallel, the occupation continued to target civilians in several areas of the Gaza Strip, leaving martyrs and destruction, and it also carried out new incursions into the occupied West Bank.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken began talks with Israeli officials on the next phase of the war, at a time when Tel Aviv said it was moving to reduce the pace of its operations in Gaza.

Heavy losses for the occupation

Today, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army announced the killing of 9 of its officers and soldiers and the wounding of 27 others in the ongoing battles in Gaza, and said that it had expanded its operations south of the Strip, while violent clashes broke out north of it.

The occupation army acknowledged these additional losses in two batches, and said that officers and soldiers were killed during the past 24 hours in clashes in the center and south of the Gaza Strip, where fighting is concentrated between the resistance and Israeli forces.

In addition to the nine dead, the Israeli army said that 27 soldiers were injured during the past 24 hours in the Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that 5 of the dead soldiers were killed in the explosion of a truck that contained explosive materials prepared to destroy tunnels in Gaza, while Israeli media reported that 30 officers and soldiers were injured in the explosion.

This brings the announced number of dead Israeli soldiers to 191 since the start of the ground operation in Gaza on October 27, and the total number rises to 519 since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Resistance operations

For his part, Abu Ubaida, the military spokesman for the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – said, “Last week, the Al-Qassam mujahideen completely or partially destroyed 42 Israeli military vehicles and killed 22 soldiers from zero distance.”

He added that the Qassam killed and wounded dozens of occupation soldiers in 52 missions in which they targeted Israeli forces with missiles and anti-fortified devices.

He confirmed that Al-Qassam blew up a house, blew up 4 tunnel entrances and a minefield among the occupation soldiers, and fired a surface-to-air missile at a helicopter in the sky of the Strip.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said that it thwarted an Israeli attempt to free prisoners after a special force infiltrated the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam also announced that its fighters targeted an Israeli force with an anti-personnel device, killing and wounding it in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Also in Khan Yunis, the Brigades said that they destroyed an Israeli Merkava tank with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell, adding that the vehicle, which is classified as among the most fortified tanks in the world, and the strongest on the battlefield, caught fire.

The military wing of the Hamas movement also announced that its fighters sniped four Israeli soldiers with a Ghoul Qassam rifle east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – said that they bombed with mortar shells a field command headquarters for the occupation forces in the vicinity of the “Kurd Hill” on the front lines of advance northeast of Khan Yunis.

Raids on Gaza

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that occupation aircraft launched raids on the towns of Al-Zawaida and Al-Masdar and east of Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip, and Israeli fighters also launched a series of violent raids on Khan Yunis in the south of the Strip.

Palestinian survivors – who were stuck in the Martyr Muhammad Al-Durra School in the Qizan Al-Najjar area in Khan Yunis – appealed to the Red Cross to intervene and retrieve 5 martyrs from one family, whose bodies are still inside the school that houses displaced people.

For its part, Doctors Without Borders said that a shell hit its shelter in Khan Yunis, which includes more than 100 employees and their families.

As for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, it said that Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the center of the Strip received the bodies of 57 martyrs and 65 injured as a result of the Israeli bombing during the past 24 hours. It added that about 126 Palestinians were martyred and 241 injured during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry also announced – in a statement, today, Tuesday – that the death toll as a result of the Israeli aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip had risen to 23,210 martyrs, in addition to the injury of 59,167 others, since October 7, 2023.

Continuing escalation in the West Bank

The head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, described what is happening in the West Bank as dangerous, and said that the enemy is abusing the people there, noting that the number of martyrs has reached more than 350 martyrs since the Al-Aqsa flood.

On the other hand, Israeli media said that security leaders warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the West Bank was approaching a major escalation.

In a related context, 14 Palestinians were injured by occupation bullets during their storming of the old Askar camp, east of the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, where young men confronted the invading forces.

Lebanon Front

Tension escalated on the southern Lebanese border with the escalation of mutual bombing operations between Hezbollah and the Israeli occupation army, at a time when the Israeli military spokesman confirmed the assassination of the official of Hezbollah’s air unit.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that an Israeli march targeted a car in the vicinity of the town of Ghandouriya in Nabatieh Governorate, killing 3 people.

On the other hand, Hezbollah announced that it targeted, with guided missiles, a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the Admit barracks, and caused direct casualties among their ranks.

The party also stated that it targeted, with guided missiles, “modernized spy equipment” at the Israeli military site of Bayad Blida, and today it also attacked the Israeli site of Al-Malikiyah, off the southern border of Lebanon.

The party also announced that it had targeted the Yiftah Barracks and a gathering of soldiers near the Admit Barracks and the Al-Malikiyah, Al-Baghdadi, and Hanita sites.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that missiles were fired from southern Lebanon towards Israeli positions in the occupied Shebaa Farms and Kfarshouba hills.
