On the 64th day of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that it had ambushed two Israeli forces and eliminated their members, amid fierce battles on several fronts, including Khan Yunis.

Politically, Washington used its veto against a draft UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire, despite 13 of the 15 member states in the Council voting in favor of the resolution.

Fierce battles and dozens of martyrs

The intense Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip continued, leaving dozens of martyrs and wounded. It also targeted shelter centers with incendiary bombs, amid fierce confrontations with the Palestinian resistance in the areas of incursion into the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that 71 martyrs and 160 injured arrived during the past 24 hours at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital due to the Israeli bombing of the central region of the Gaza Strip. 62 martyrs and 100 injured arrived at Nasser Medical Complex in the southern Gaza Strip.

After launching attacks against Israeli ships in the Red Sea, the Houthi group announced on Saturday that it was expanding the scope of its operations to include every ship heading to Israel, regardless of its nationality.

Shocking testimonies

Video scenes showed testimonies of a group of citizens – who were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces from the eastern areas of Gaza City during the ground incursion there – in which they narrated their exposure to interrogation and torture in tragic and extremely difficult circumstances.
