On the 63rd day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the Israeli occupation army intensified its bombing of residential areas in the Strip, and committed new massacres in which hundreds were martyred in Rafah, Khan Yunis, Gaza City, and Jabalia.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that the total death toll from the Israeli aggression exceeded 17,000, and that the number of those injured rose to more than 46,000, the majority of whom were women and children.

While the occupation army acknowledged the killing of two officers during the ongoing battles with the resistance in the north and south of the Gaza Strip, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced the killing of a captured soldier during a “failed” Israeli attempt to recover him.

Security Council session

Today, under pressure from UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the UN Security Council will decide on a call for an “immediate humanitarian ceasefire” in Gaza.

Hundreds of martyrs

On Friday, the Israeli army continued its heavy raids on various parts of the Gaza Strip, and announced that it had “hit 450 targets” in Gaza in land, air and sea operations, resulting in many martyrs and wounded.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that hospitals received during the past hours 313 martyrs and 558 injured, and explained that a large number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads.

Qassam operations

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades announced that it had completely or partially destroyed 21 vehicles on all fighting fronts in the Gaza Strip within 24 hours, especially in the Shujaiya neighborhood, the Sheikh Radwan area, and the east of the city of Khan Yunis.

The occupation army admitted the killing of two other officers in battles described as fierce in northern and southern Gaza, bringing its death toll to 94 since the beginning of the ground operation on October 27, and 418 since the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

An Israeli prisoner is killed

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades announced the killing of one of its captured Israeli soldiers in Gaza during a failed attempt by the occupation army to reach and recover him. Tel Aviv Tribune broadcast pictures it obtained showing the “failure” of the operation to free the Israeli soldier.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said that its fighters discovered a special Israeli force while it was trying to advance to retrieve one of the occupation’s prisoners, and clashed with it. She pointed out that the clash led to the death and injury of members of this force before Israeli warplanes intervened with bombing to cover up the withdrawal.

New toll

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the toll of the Israeli aggression had risen to 17,487 martyrs and 46,480 injured, 70% of whom were children and women.

Ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said, “On the sixty-third day of the aggression, only 313 martyrs and 558 injured arrived at hospitals during the past hours, and a large number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads.”

American deadline

American sources reported that US President Joe Biden set a deadline to end the Israeli war on Gaza, and Politico quoted 3 Israeli officials as saying that the Biden administration has given Israel until the end of the year to end its war on the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

One of the officials explained that the US administration advised Israel not to go to Gaza, but the administration of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ignored this and proceeded with its plans for a ground incursion into the Strip.

Escalation in the West Bank

6 Palestinian young men were martyred and others were injured by occupation forces’ bullets during their storming of Al-Far’a camp in Tubas in the occupied West Bank. Another young man was injured when the Israeli army stormed Al-Fawwar camp, south of Hebron, at a time when arrest operations were continuing in Bethlehem.

The occupation forces continued to storm Palestinian cities, towns and camps in the West Bank, and the campaign focused at dawn today on the city of Ramallah and a number of villages, towns and neighborhoods in the city of Hebron, in the south of the West Bank, where a campaign of raids, arrests and demolition of homes and shops was launched.

An infiltration attempt from Lebanon

On the Lebanese front, the occupation army reported targeting an armed cell that attempted to infiltrate Israel on the northern border, while the Lebanese Hezbollah announced the killing of two Israeli soldiers while attacking 11 Israeli military sites off the southern border of Lebanon, as one of its members mourned.

The Israeli army suggested that the cell that attempted to infiltrate was from Hezbollah’s Mount Dov area, noting that it was targeted by a drone.

Abbas’s statements

In an interview with Reuters on Friday, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called for an immediate halt to the war on Gaza and the convening of an international peace conference to reach a permanent political solution that leads to the establishment of a Palestinian state. He expressed his readiness to revive the Palestinian Authority, carry out reforms in it, and hold general elections in the Palestinian territories.

Attack in Baghdad

Security sources said that missiles targeted the American embassy located in the Green Zone in the Iraqi capital, before falling in the vicinity of this area, which includes embassies and government institutions, without causing any casualties or damage.

This is the first attack on the US embassy in Baghdad since factions accused of being allied with Iran – in mid-October – began launching attacks with drones and missiles against US forces and international coalition forces in Iraq and Syria.
