Resistance operations also continued, as Palestinian factions bombed the city of Ashkelon and the Gaza Strip with missiles, and fought fierce battles with the occupation forces in the Jabalia camp and east of Rafah, inflicting heavy losses on their ranks.
New toll
The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation forces committed 8 massacres in the Strip, killing 70 martyrs and 110 injured within 24 hours.
The Ministry confirmed that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression since the seventh of last October had risen to 35,456 martyrs and 79,476 injured.
Resistance operations
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that today it carried out joint operations with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, against the occupation forces and their vehicles in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
It stated that the operations included a clash with a special Israeli force that barricaded itself behind the Martyr Imad Aql Mosque, and its members were killed or wounded, in addition to finishing off a second force on Al-Albani Street, and detonating a Merkava tank with an explosive device on Al-Ajarma Street.

Losses to the occupation
For its part, the Israeli occupation army announced the death of an officer with the rank of major, as a result of his injuries in battles with resistance factions in the northern Gaza Strip a few days ago, bringing the death toll since the start of the war to 631 officers and soldiers killed.
This comes after the Israeli army admitted that 44 soldiers and officers were injured in battles throughout the Gaza Strip during the past hours, including 8 seriously injured.
Attack on Rafah
The developments come as the occupation army continues to expand its military operation in Rafah, which was announced two weeks ago, despite widespread international opposition.
Israeli Channel 12 quoted army sources as saying that a fourth military brigade had been introduced to fight in Rafah, bringing the number of brigades operating in Gaza to 9.

Lebanon Front
On the northern front, Lebanese Hezbollah announced on Sunday that it had targeted several Israeli military sites with missiles, while an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent said that sirens sounded in more than 15 towns in the Hula Plain and Upper Galilee region near the border with Lebanon.
The party said that it also destroyed the spy equipment at the Israeli military site Ramia after bombing it with appropriate weapons. It also targeted a Hummer vehicle at the Al-Malikiyah site with a guided missile, killing and wounding its crew.
For its part, the occupation aircraft launched raids on a number of towns and villages in southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 12 quoted Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich as saying, “If Hezbollah does not respond to our demands, we must launch a war deep inside Lebanon,” referring to Israel’s demands for Hezbollah fighters to withdraw from the border.
