On the 218th day of the Israeli aggression against Gaza, the occupation army continued to bomb several areas in the Gaza Strip, especially in Rafah, the Nuseirat camp, and Gaza City, leaving more martyrs and wounded, as the toll of the aggression rose since the seventh of last October to 34,934 martyrs and 78,000. And 572 injured.
While the resistance factions reported, in separate statements, that they were targeting and fighting the occupation forces penetrating Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, in addition to Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, where the occupation army began another military operation coinciding with the launch of belts of fire.
Bombing and clashes
The Israeli occupation army announced the killing of a soldier during the battles in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
The occupation army expanded its ground and air attacks on several axes in the Gaza Strip, and said that it decided to return to work in Jabalia, north of Gaza, and evacuate residents after attempts by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to restore its capabilities there.
Since Thursday, the occupation forces have continued their incursion into the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood and areas in the Al-Sabra and Tal Al-Hawa neighborhoods (south of Gaza City), carrying out massive bombing operations in these areas, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded, in addition to widespread material destruction, according to eyewitnesses and Palestinian medical sources.
This area witnessed widespread clashes between Palestinian resistance elements and the occupation forces.
Despite mounting international warnings against expanding Israeli operations in Rafah, the occupation army called, on Saturday morning, for the immediate displacement of residents of neighborhoods in the heart of the city, thereby expanding its operations, which began on Monday, from the eastern side.

Video of Al-Qassam
For its part, the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, broadcast a new video on Saturday entitled “What Happened?” It featured an Israeli prisoner held by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
The video was accompanied by text in Arabic that said: “Prisoner Nadav Boublabil, a British national, died today after being seriously injured a month ago along with prisoner Judy Feinstein.”

Destruction of Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent’s house
The Israeli air strike – on Saturday – destroyed dozens of homes in the northern Gaza Strip, including the home of Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent Anas Al-Sharif in the Jabalia camp.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that large numbers of martyrs and wounded were killed as a result of the violent bombing, which was concentrated on Al-Sikka Street near Al-Shafi’i Mosque, east of Jabalia Camp.
Al-Jazeera correspondent Anas Al-Sharif said that the occupation aircraft launched fire belts and more than 70 violent air strikes several hours ago on various areas of the northern Gaza Strip, specifically the Jabalia camp and Jabalia Al-Balad.

Fires and power outages in Israel caused by Hezbollah missiles
On the Lebanon front, Hezbollah announced launching attacks on Israeli positions from southern Lebanon, and Israel admitted losses and the outbreak of fires due to those attacks. Electricity was cut off in a number of neighborhoods due to the targeting of a main supply line.
Hezbollah explained that its attacks targeted – on Saturday – the Metula area, the Ramia military site and Jal al-Alam, and the attacks also targeted the occupied Shebaa Farms and the Kfar Shuba hills.
On the other hand, Israeli artillery bombed the surroundings of the towns of Markaba, Yaroun, and Al-Wazzani in southern Lebanon.

Renewed protests in Western universities
Sit-ins and demonstrations demanding an end to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip continued in several American and European universities.
CNN reported that the American police arrested more than 2,400 students and at least 50 university professors who participated in student protests in support of Palestine, with protests continuing in more than 50 American universities.

Demonstrations sweep the world
Many capitals and cities around the world witnessed demonstrations denouncing the continued aggression against Gaza, and demanding an immediate halt there.
In Europe, demonstrations took place in the French capital, Paris, and the Spanish capital, Madrid, in addition to the cities of Stuttgart, southern Germany, and Manchester, in Britain.
Demonstrations also took place in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, and the Greek capital, Athens. The cities of Malmo and Uppsala in Sweden witnessed demonstrations, as well as the Japanese capital, Tokyo.
In the Arab world, hundreds of Yemenis participated – on Saturday – in 3 protests denouncing the Israeli attack on the city of Rafah, and in solidarity with the student movement in Western universities rejecting the war on the Gaza Strip.
In Tunisia, the Ansar Palestine Association organized its weekly stand on Bourguiba Street in solidarity with Gaza.
