The forces also attacked a number of Palestinians at Damascus Gate, wounding some of them. They also attacked worshipers by beating them at Bab al-Silsilah, one of the doors of Al-Aqsa Mosque, before Eid al-Adha prayers.
The number of people who were able to perform Eid al-Adha prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque was limited to 40,000 people, according to the Islamic Endowments Department.
Martyrdom of a child
In the West Bank, a Palestinian child was martyred and two others were injured by bullets from the occupation army during the storming of the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus.
Confrontations also broke out between the young men and the occupation forces storming the town, during which the occupation army opened fire directly at the young men before the forces withdrew towards the Beit Furik checkpoint west of the town.

Later on Saturday, Palestinians in Nablus carried the body of the child Khatatba to his final resting place in the town of Beit Furik.
