Israeli media reported that government ministers unanimously believed the dismissal of the government’s judicial advisor, Ghali Bahraf Mayra.
Channel 12 stated that the decision will not enter into force immediately, and the Supreme Court rushed to issue a temporary order that freezes the dismissal decision.
The Yisrael Hume newspaper quoted the Supreme Court as saying that “there is no change in the powers of the legal advisor and will not announce a substitute for it before considering petitions.”
Last month, the Supreme Court said that the decision to dismiss the chancellor would not come into effect until after the court would review this step.
Mayara had condemned the endeavors of her dismissal, noting that the government is seeking to dismiss her illegally during the trial of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on corruption and exploitation of influence.
The government decision came two years after the differences between the government and the judicial advisor, as Mayara opposed the package of judicial reforms that the government sought to impose.

The secret .. Netanyahu’s trial
The Israeli opposition accuses the government of isolating the judicial advisor for rejecting many laws that the government intended to take.
Miral Cohen, the former minister and the Knesset member of the “There is a Future” party, considered that the government’s goals of dismissing the judicial chancellor canceled Netanyahu’s trial, supporting the collective evasion of the Haridim from the Israeli army, and a regular coup to transform Israel from liberal democracy into a corrupt dictatorship (in reference to the draft judicial amendments).
This is what MP Gilad Karif went to, as he considered that “the only reason for the dismissal of the judicial counselor is the fact that the chancellor does not cancel the Netanyahu trial.”
It is noteworthy that bribery, fraud and trustworthy were charged with Netanyahu in 2019, and the government’s legal advisor has provided these charges to the court, and the trial may lead him to prison in the event that accusations are proven.
The Israeli Prime Minister, who is required from the International Criminal Court, denies his war crimes during the aggression against the Gaza Strip, and the trial began in 2020 and includes 3 criminal cases.
Calls to boycott
In the same context, the Israeli Minister of Communications, Shlomo Karai, called for the speedy appointment of a new judicial advisor to the government and not to wait for the Supreme Court’s decision.
As for the Minister of Internal Security, Itetar bin Ghafir, he said that all ministries must cut communication with Mayara and not to cooperate with her, and not to be satisfied with not inviting it to attend government sessions, he said.
