Israeli Army Radio said that Defense Minister Yoav Galant instructed Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy to prevent Tel Aviv Tribune from broadcasting in the West Bank, and indicated that work is underway to implement the instructions.

Tel Aviv Tribune Network described the Israeli government’s decision to close Tel Aviv Tribune’s offices in Israel as a deeply misleading and slanderous step, stressing its right to continue providing its services to audiences around the world, which is guaranteed by international conventions.
Tel Aviv Tribune Network’s statement added that it is ironic that the occupation government closed Tel Aviv Tribune’s offices in conjunction with World Press Freedom Day.
He said, “Israel’s suppression of the free press to cover up its crimes by killing and arresting journalists did not prevent us from performing our duty,” recalling that more than 140 Palestinian journalists have been martyred for the sake of the truth since the beginning of the war on Gaza.
