The head of the Houthis claims that Israeli attacks will not prevent the group from continuing support for Gaza, “no matter the sacrifices”.

The Israeli army has bombed the Yemeni capital that Sanaa, according to Israeli and Yemeni officials, while tensions in the region continue to intensify in the middle of the War of Israel against Gaza.

The Al Masirah TV affiliated to Houth-Affilié said that the attack had targeted on Sunday an oil installation and a power plant in Sanaa. Israel said that he also was targeting a presidential palace in the Yemeni capital, which, according to him, is located on a “military complex”.

According to Al Masirah, at least six people were killed and 86 other people were injured during the attacks.

Israeli strikes occurred two days after the Houthis claimed a launch of missiles against Israel – part of a campaign which, according to the Yemenite group, aims to put pressure on Israel to put an end to its atrocities and to headquarters in Gaza.

“The attacks were carried out in response to the repeated attacks of the Houthi terrorist regime against the State of Israel and its citizens, including the launch of surface surface missiles and unmanned air vehicles to the country’s territory,” said the Israeli army.

Al Masirah cited a Houthi military official saying that the group’s air defenses were able to “neutralize most Israeli enemy planes participating in the assault and forced them to leave”.

After the attack, the Israeli Minister of Defense Israel Katz: “Today we have bombed the presidential palace of the Houthis. For each missile they dismiss in Israel, the Houthis will pay for compound interests. ”

Katz has sworn to bring “a plague of darkness and sadness” on Yemen, even threatening to target his “firstborn” citing Jewish scriptures.

His comments follow the previous statements of Israeli officials calling for the total destruction of the Palestinians and describing them as the biblical people of Amalek.

Images verified by Tel Aviv Tribune have shown plumes of fire and smoke rising above Sanaa after the Israeli strikes.

The Houthis quickly reiterated on Sunday that Israeli attacks did not dissuade the group’s military operations in support of the Palestinians.

“The Israeli assault on Yemen will not discourage us from continuing our support for Gaza, regardless of sacrifices,” said Houthi Al-Bukhaiti manager in a statement.

“The problem is resolved for us: either eternity in heaven or eternity in hell.”

Abed Al-Thawr, an official of the Houthi Defense Ministry, said that Israel’s claims that she had attacked military targets on Sunday was “lies”. He said that Israel had bombed civil infrastructure to make Yemenis suffer.

Al-Thawr told Tel Aviv Tribune that the presidential palace has been struck on Sunday. “So what Israel is doing is barbarism,” he said.

The government of change and reconstruction dominated by the Houthis in Sanaa also described the Israeli attack as “war crime” which aims to injure the Yemenis and create a “false victory” by showing columns of smoke over Sanaa.

“The aggression proves that the Israeli enemy, with American support, waged an open war against the Arab and Muslim nation,” he said in a statement.

Hamas has also condemned Israeli strikes on Yemen, calling them “a blatant violation of Arab sovereignty and international law”.

On Sunday, in a statement, the Palestinian group said that the “fascist assault” of Israel was aimed at detering Yemen from supporting the Palestinians.

Hamas praised the position of the Houthis, describing it as “courageous”, and called “all the Arab and Muslim countries, and all the free forces” to join what it called a collective effort to end the occupation.

Israel has been bombing the Yemeni power plants and ports for a month. But Sunday’s attack occurred shortly after the Israeli Navy hit a power plant in Sanaa last week.

On Friday, the Houthis said they launched a hypersonic missile and two drones to Israel, promising to stand with the Palestinians “until the assault against Gaza stops and the seat is lifted.”
