The Israeli army announced that 3 officers and a soldier were killed during battles with Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip. One of the officers was a major in the engineering battalion in the Golani Brigade and another was a team leader in the Givati patrol in Gaza, in addition to the wounding of an officer and 3 soldiers with serious injuries.
For its part, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that it had ambushed a foot force inside a building in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, killing and wounding its members.
It reported that it bombed two gatherings of occupation vehicles and soldiers in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, with mortar shells. She added that she blew up with explosive devices a house in which a number of occupation soldiers were barricaded in Khan Yunis, leaving them dead and wounded.
It also targeted 8 Israeli tanks with “Al-Yassin 105” shells in the Al-Tuffah and Al-Daraj neighborhoods in Gaza City, an Israeli Merkava tank with a “Al-Yassin 105” shell in the Khuza’a area east of Khan Yunis, and another with a Shawwaz device in the Sheikh Radwan area of Gaza City.
Al-Qassam bombed concentrations of Israeli soldiers and vehicles east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
Al-Qassam added that it targeted an Israeli force on foot inside a building in the Sheikh Ajlin area of Gaza City with an anti-fortified TPG shell. It also explained that its fighters sniped a soldier with a heavy-caliber M-99 weapon in Sheikh Ajlin.
The Brigades also said that their fighters clashed with Israeli special forces penetrating the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood west of Gaza City, killing and wounding more than 20 soldiers.
Bombing Israeli crowds
Earlier, the Al-Qassam Brigades published scenes of an Israeli “Skylark 2” drone after it was seized while it was carrying out an intelligence mission west of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, after it broadcast yesterday scenes of a drone of the same type that it seized in Tal al-Zaatar in the northern Gaza Strip. .
It also broadcast scenes of mortar shelling on crowds of occupation forces in several areas of the Gaza Strip, and this comes amid continuing fierce clashes in various areas of the Strip.
For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – said that it bombed Israeli army gatherings in the Bani Suhaila area, east of Khan Yunis, with a barrage of regular mortar shells, and targeted an Israeli military vehicle with an explosive device and completely destroyed it east of the Bureij camp.
It added that it targeted a troop carrier and two occupation tanks with Tandom and RPG shells in the Al-Tuffah and Al-Daraj neighborhoods in Gaza City.
The Al-Quds Brigades also announced that they bombed the settlements of Niram and Mfilasim in the Gaza Strip with missile bursts, and broadcast a video showing the targeting of Ashkelon and the Gaza Strip with rocket bursts.
The announced death toll of the Israeli army since the start of the ground operation in Gaza on October 27 of last year reached 177, and the number of wounded was 936. The total number of those killed since the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 7 of last year also rose to 505, between an officer and a soldier.
