The government’s media office says that securing temporary shelters is the “most urgent” humanitarian need in Gaza.
Local authorities of the Gaza Strip have called donors and groups to prioritize the sending of temporary tents and shelters to help people whose houses were destroyed by Israel.

“But the Israeli occupation puts obstacles and delays the execution of the agreement, the climbing of the humanitarian crisis and the suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip,” he said. “This will have dangerous and unprecedented implications.”
Later Tuesday, Antoine Renard, head of the World Food Program, said that there had been an increase in assistance to Gaza, but suggested that certain Israeli restrictions remained, including on articles deemed “double use” for civil and military purposes.
“This is a reminder that many of the elements that are double use must also enter Gaza as Medical and also tents,” said Renard, quoted by the Reuters news agency.
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, called to move the entire population of Gaza, citing the general destruction of the territory.
