A British activist named Rachel declared her conversion to Islam during her participation in a demonstration in support of Gaza in the capital, London, noting that the faith and patience of the people of Gaza motivated her to delve deeper into her knowledge of Islam, and this ultimately led her to convert to it.
In a video clip circulating on social media platforms, Rachel appeared talking about her journey toward Islam. She explained that her daughter asked her about the secret of the steadfastness of the Palestinians in Gaza despite the oppression and persecution they are subjected to, and she answered that the reason is their deep faith because they are Muslims.

Rachel participated in demonstrations in support of the Palestinian cause, demanding a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which has been witnessing Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023. She also expressed her affection for the patience of the Gazans, and considered their behavior a source of inspiration for many Britons. She added: “It is very clear that Islam is the religion of truth.”
The streets of London are still witnessing mass demonstrations in which tens of thousands participate, gathering in the city center to show solidarity with Palestine and demand a ceasefire.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a fierce war on Gaza that has resulted in nearly 153,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 11,000 missing persons, amid massive destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of dozens of children and the elderly.
On November 21, the International Criminal Court issued two arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians in Gaza.
