Qatar’s emir Sheikh, Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, condemned “the reckless criminal attack” of Israel in the capital Doha during a telephone call with American president Donald Trump.
The attack is “a blatant violation of its sovereignty and its security, and a clear violation of the rules and principles of international law,” Sheikh Tamim said on Tuesday.

“During the appeal, the American president confirmed his solidarity with the state of Qatar and his strong condemnation of the attack on his sovereignty, stressing that diplomatic solutions are capable of solving exceptional problems in the region.”
At least six people were killed during the first attack of this type in Qatar, which was mediating to end the War of Israel in Gaza. Hamas said five people had been killed, including the son and the help of his senior manager Khalil Al-Hayya, while Qatar said that a security guard was one of those who were killed in Tuesday’s bomb.
The Qatar Interior Ministry said that Corporal Bader Saad Mohammed al-Humaidi al-Dosari, a member of the internal security force (Lekhwiya), was “martyred” during his functions. Several security staff were also injured in the attack, he said in a statement.
Hamas, however, said that his management, who said that Israel said she was targeting, had survived the assassination offer. He described the attack as “a heinous crime, a blatant assault and a blatant violation of all international standards and laws”.
The Emir Qatari called on the international community to hold officials of people involved in committing “rogue actions”, expressing his hope that the United States of America will support this just direction.

The Prime Minister of Qatar and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani described the attack on Israel “state terrorism”.

Earlier, the Qatar Foreign Ministry condemned “in the strongest terms of the loose Israeli attack” against a residential building sheltering Hamas leaders in Doha, qualifying the aggression of “blatant violation of all international laws and standards”.
“The state of Qatar claims that it will not tolerate this imprudent Israeli behavior and its continuous falsification of regional security, as well as any action targeting its security and sovereignty,” Majed Ministry spokesman Al-Ansari said on Tuesday.
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed in a statement that the Israeli army had led Doha’s attack on Hamas leaders on Tuesday.
“Today’s action against Hamas’ main terrorist leaders was a completely independent Israeli operation,” Netanyahu said in a social media position. “Israel has launched it, Israel has led him and Israel assumes full responsibility.”
